Titans are the only team in the league with 2 players in double ditgit sacks. On top of that they have Simmons and Key. The key will be slowing down that Titans pass rush

Damn, didnt know it was season ending.  Even better. The key will still be slowing the pass rush as they have a good pass rush

I really want you too be right my boy, but RBs make significantly less than other skill positions and i'm positive he's got his eyes set on a new contract and making it a big one. I highly doubt he's even thought about injury this week.

Why would any team sign a 30 year old RB, who has over 2,300 touches in the NFL to a big new contract? That would absolutely be one of the dumbest things a team could do. Dude's time in the league is all but up.

I doubt he gets a multi year deal but I don't think he's done.  If he goes to a team with a good oline I think he has a great season next year.  Curtis Martin led the league in rushing at 31.  It's possible for Henry to do the same if he has a good oline.

Henry ain't Curtis Martin.

Naw, he's Derrick Henry.  Hes one of the best backs to do it like Martin.  2 different backs

He's had 2011 carries, that's not a ton for the great backs

Hes had over 2,300 career touches in the NFL. Receiving counts and playoff touches count as well. Dude is near the end of his road.

There's an obvious reason why the team he helped carry for a couple seasons doesn't want him anymore. He all but done.

Henry is done.

Curtis Martin had 371 carries at age 31. No chance Henry gets that many next year because the days of power backs are likely over. He will go play for a contender (likely Baltimore) where he will split carries with someone.

And After Martin had 371 carries, he had 220 the next year and then retired. He's also an extremely different back than Henry. Henry goes out looking for contact and punishment but Martin was a do it all guy who avoided tackles.

If in fact there is an injury issue with Lawrence, the will be serious issues playing CJ. It is one thing playing a backup qb offence gameplan against a mediocre team like the Panthers.

Throwing 6 yard outs against the Titans will not cut it and it’s unlikely the running game will carry the offence.

Risking and losing Rourke was a huge mistake by management and now the team is stuck with a pathetic third string option.

CJ is not the answer and frankly the question has to be asked about Lawrence. Same, actually worse career stats than Daniel Jones…think about that.

I didn't think anyone could be worse than the Panthers' oline. Their QB would certainly say it's the worst. Poor guy got drilled all season. The few games I watched it was hard to watch a smaller QB like him get pounded.

A Canuck touting Canadian Nathan Rourke while casting shade on Trevor Lawrence. There is no agenda here.

Thank you for posting, Mrs. Rourke.

Josh Allen looked like a giant when sacking him. The kid hangs in there, though.

Zay will be active on Sunday says Pederson.

There's a chance the Jags have Ridley, Kirk, Zay and Trevor.... For the first time in a while.

The Lawrence question is answered; he's getting a big contract sometime in the next 20 months to be the Jaguars QB for the next 8 years. Your Daniel Jones comparison for career stats takes Jones's FIVE season career and compares it to Lawrence's THREE season careert. Yeah, that's right. Jones has just over 12k yards in 5 seasons but Lawrence has 11,490 in just under 3. Lawrence threw over 600 passes his rookie year, Jones has never thrown 475 in any of his sesasons. Lawrence carried this awful 2021 team and that entire year stunted his growth and has an outsized impact on his totals. The "career stats" comparison is nonsense, it's just something people latched onto for some reason to try and make Lawrence look bad.

I am looking for the defense to leave it on the field this weekend. How much they have left in the tank after a year of the offense leaning on them I do not know, but they will do their best. I am intrigued to see the o-line this week. We seem to be getting a "little" healthy there. A line with Cam and Ezra playing next to each other. Both players have a little nasty edge to them. This could help the run game a bit, we will need it this week. If that happens the world is our oyster.

Tannehill incoming. Walker and Allen in line for a massive day. tacks tackles allow the highest pressure % (25%) in the league and now Tannehill is back there who can't move.
