Please someone explain how this isn't on coaching? This team has zero fight outside of the guys trying to get a payday next year.

Of course its coaching. You can't have a team go 8-3 and finish 9-8 and it not be coaching. A coaches job is to keep talent performing consistently. This season is the opposite of consistent.

Some around here think it's just on Baalke, or Lawrence.

Losing a division title like this is the kind of thing that gnaws on a team in the offseason, and not in a good way.

Yeah its hard to see this team improving after this disaster next year without some significant change. "Another year in the system" will see this team in 3rd or 4th place next season and completely uncompetitive.

This team absolutely does not deserve the playoffs and I'm hoping that missing them causes Khan to take notice and make some changes.

Both lines need rebuilt. Depth needs work. Need new coordinators. Etc. With a collapse this epic, you can’t just stand pat. Much worse than the collapse at the end of 2010.

It wasn't fool's gold. It was an invitation to address our weak spots and get better. Trent had other ideas.

Yep, last year they schemed a lot of success up with limited talent, but they spent so much on that limited talent that they didn't have much opportunity to spend for more.

Baalke has to go, they're wasting Trevor's talent with a lower end roster.
