players like need a rah rah guy to keep them motivated to even play, we just looked so flat

We could win the division with these coordinators again by upgrading a few positions on each side of the roster.
We could also improve those spots AND seek out better play callers. 
Hopefully both options are in play as GM and HC analyze 2023 and make plans for 2024.

I'm fine getting rid of Caldwell. Minus the reason of takeovers at the beginning of the year he had one of thr worst defenses in the league. I don't like his ability to adjust at what's being thrown at him. I've been over him since he refused to throw extra rushers at a one legged pat mahomes in last years playoffs.

Speaking of Defense.. I'm partially inclined to have the team shop Tyson Campbell around, if you look at the games he played vs was out our defense was dramatically better without him. Now don't get me wrong, I know it may be in part due to his injury.. but at the same time, I do wonder if we could get a solid trade for him since he is a young CB who a lot consider top 10. I mean, if we keep him he's gonna be expensive too and we're gonna be in cap hell soon so.. idk just a thought.

I'd love to bring wink in. That giants defense has been almost devoid of talent the last 2 years besides sexy dexy and he git everything he could out of them. I also love how aggressive and exotic he is with his blitz packages.

Smart business is you don't trade people while.their value is down. If he comes bakc healthy next year and plays like he did last year and you don't think you could afford resigning him then you can try and make a move then.

I'd rather not add one more position of need to the long list by giving up on a young player set back by injury. 

I don't think so many of his stat lines on 2022 were elite by accident. He defended some quality receivers well. Injury has been the only notable change to blame his setback on. 

I wanna see him get a shot in Jax with his crazy cheap 2.8 mil cap hit in year four.

Caldwell looked like a hero until the niners fully exposed the roster and scheme deficiencies.
This should be obvious. 

That happened 2 weeks after this post of mine that you have quoted. 

Caldwell hasn't impressed anyone since November 12.

I said essentially those same words to my buddy while walking out of the stadium after that game.  If there were any secrets left in the league about our O-line deficiency, that got exposed that game as well.
