Trevor Lawrence: Franchise QB (TL Discussion, Merged Threads)

SoS played a massive role as well with the 2022 and 2023 line play. Sorry. I edited my post awhile back.
In between talking [BLEEP] on here I do have a job to do. LOL. Our OLine isn't bad as you crybabies on this board want to claim, 3 out of 4 players in our line are high draft picks and are the reason why our offense was good last year. What happend this year was injuries and our QB not taking the next step, ontop of poor coaching. He isn't. The difference? Those two played more than half of their careers with better QBs and coaching. Look at their indedibles and tell me how are they better than Cam? Put Cam under Rodgers half of his career and he would of been in the same conversation as those two.

Like any young player, Lawrence has to continue to grow and hold up his end of the bargain, but he is clearly a franchise quarterback. The Jaguars need to start acting like it. ^^^^ This
The Khan Years
Patience, Persistence, and Piss Poor General Managers.
I hope Khan signs TL to a fat, nine-figure, seven+ year contract. The buyer’s remorse here from the same sycophants on here currently loving TL so hard they can’t sleep will be delicious. Or if JAX trades him this off-season. I can’t decide which will be better to witness.
Just how much quality this board could have when new people like me come here for whatever reason and are treated respectfully when they politely question the preferred narrative, rather than being jumped on by the NY moderator mafia. You slam the smallest disagreement as if it’s the most heinous troll, making clear that participating here is a choice between kowtowing to the approved opinion or contribute to the destruction. There’s a lesson in there somewhere but ain’t no one interested in learning.
Actually having an argument is one thing, but people here just attack when we have posted clear stats that back up and videos that he's not the problem yes he has to clean up turnovers but he is a franchise QB. I get sick of reading the crap. So many teams would take him if given the chance.
No Fun
I like Trevor a lot, he dealt with injuries this year but if he’s the generational difference maker at QB this team ,at minimum, needs to make the playoffs yearly for the next 10 years. That’s done by protecting the QB, and all focus should be on the line. The best QBs make due with their WR/TE groups, support him best you can by fixing the line and adding impact players on defense to help win the turnover battle.
This next year is a real make it or break it year for the franchise. Need to create a winning culture, yearly playoffs demanded by all. We show less advertisements to registered users. The perfect storm happened for the jags to miss the playoffs this year. The Texans and colts overachieved in my opinion. Now, both of these teams are looking hopeful to their fan bases next season. The injuries were in key spots for the jags including Kirk and Lawrence. The jags could have should have made the play offs. I agree this next season is crucial. That starts with right now. It’s important that the jags pick the right coaches to join the squad.
Can anyone with a PFF sub pull up the list of "interceptable Passes" or whatever they call it for the league this year?
I'd be interested to see where Trevor falls considering he had some unlucky breaks and where some of these low INT number guys fall this year. I remember hearing Purdy was leading in interceptable passes but was getting super lucky most of the time.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

The offense's efficiency only dropped overall from 10th to 13th between 2022 and 2023 and the reasons that happened were facing the #3 strength of schedule in 2023 - a litany of turnovers inside FG position that didn't occur in 2022 - and a huge step back in the run game due to OL ineptitude. Press did almost exactly what Doug dd in 2022. I could take him or leave him - but he wasn't the problem at all. The problem usually is they are "adjusted for x" stats or "next gen" or some variant of reality like "stats adjusted for luck" bull that effects every QB. "If the sun's tilt was .02394 degrees different on Sundays, and the Earth's axis was .0454069 degrees the opposite direction, Trevor would have had a good game! ITS THE DAMN SOLOAR SYSTEM HOLING OUR QB DOWN! REEEE!!!11!!!" That's how yall look. The reality is, when the game was on the line, or we needed our QB to go out and win/end the game/make a play, he did not play well. He was atrocious in the redzone several games this year, you can't do that if you want to be called elite, or a franchise QB. Franchise QBs win you games and make plays. I like to base my reasoning in reality, and not some fairy tale pseudo statistics like some of the nonsense you guys try to defend Trevor with. Did he win? Did he make the play when we needed it? Did he protect the football? The answer was a resounding NO too many times this year.

For example, at least two of Trevor’s interceptions this year came from hitting the receiver right in the numbers only for them to pop it up. Another came when engram was blatantly held in the tinhorns game. On the other hand, his fumbles are often times inexplicable and he needs to hold onto the dang ball. The adjusted stats help paint a bigger picture I’ll give you an example of how easy it is for straight numbers to be deceiving. Jalen Hurts has had a combined 28 rushing TDs the past two seasons. Does this mean Jalen Hurts is a rushing phenom in the red zone? Yes or no? We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Can someone provide a brief synopsis of where this thread is at currently?
