Divisional playoffs weekend

(This post was last modified: 01-21-2024, 06:51 PM by flgatorsandjags. Edited 1 time in total.)

What a pick the Gibbs was at 12th overall for the Lions. A much better pick than when they traded up for Williams a couple years ago. Williams was a reach

The Niners are my pick to win it all but Detroit will give them everything they have.

What a job Dan Campbell has done there.

9ers looked beatable yesterday. Lions play like this next week, they can win.

Not sure if the Lions can beat the 49ers but they matchup just as well as any team imo. If the 9ers don't have Debo I think they win it. Sewell might be the only RT along with with Johnson that matches well against Bosa. Hutch matches up well against 49ers RT. ST Brown matches up good against the 9ers corners etc.

Tampa not going down without a fight. Love to see it. Dont like the 2 pt call.

Man, if only Lawrence had an Evans.

It's stupid. In the playoffs every point counts. Tie it up and keep playing.

Oh Detroit have a chance. They proved Week 1 winning in KC they can win tough games on the road. Samuel would be a huge miss and they'd need Jennings and Aiyuk to have big games.

It's weird how different the Niners are when trailing and if you can (somehow) slow McCaffrey and make Purdy beat you throwing 40+ times you've got a shot.

Its almost like the networks work with the NFL to make dumb decisions in close games so it doesnt hurt ratings and kick off times for the other games.

Stupid call. Play for OT, or a 2pt conversion if you trail by 1.

I agree with you. They'll talk about how teams have scored 55% of 2pt conversions but that also means 45% didn't and I beat a few of those teams wish they hadn't.

It's like going for it on 4th down, everyone gets the benefits if you get and can score 7 instead of 3 but look as last night with the Packers. Those 3 pts could have really helped.

I cannot hate on either team.  Nice win for the Lions but I would have been happy for either team today and will be rooting against the 9’ers next weekend.

I just don't get why QBs try and make a hero throw in a situation like that. You've got time, just move down the field, don't have to try and do it in one play.

And it usually ends up like this. And last night.

I forgot about that 2021 Bills/Chiefs post season game. The last 2 minutes were some insane football.

Get some, Buffalo! Pay the man and get a win.
