Keep an eye on the RAS score as well. RAS score seems to be a common trait in General Managers with historical success in finding impact players or Pro-Bowl caliber players.

Also, it's a shame Khan couldn't figure out a way to add Rick Spielman to the front office while he was rumored or at least in the building being entertained at some capacity. He had a really strong showing with the Vikings.

It's funny, but, roughly 8:00 minutes into his video, he sounds an awful like a lot of us on here. Especially in regards to:

1. Lack of checks and balances from ownership down.
2. A disconnect between the general manager and coaching staff. 
3. A lot of lying through their teeth and questionable decision making now as it stands. 

He is correct about this organization. Khan is a businessman. His VP, Lamping, he's another businessman. There's nobody within the hierarchy that holds Baalke accountable and Pederson accountable. There's really nobody with FOOTBALL experience that can look at both sides of this coin to be the final judge, jury and executioner between the two of them. 

It's disappointing and our window of opportunity with a great talent at the QB position is closing by the year. It's year four and the expectations should be through the roof now. Take what you did right in 2022, take what you did wrong in 2023 and learn from it to make 2024 and beyond the stepping stones to success with a clear path of ascension moving forward. 

Dangerously close to falling off the rails already. It's risky to let Baalke have yet another off season. Wigg is already over it. Thinks it's a mistake. Which he could be right. This year will be the determining factor with most of our fears and instincts. However, time will tell as it always does.

I am pessimistically optimistic with this current situation.

Around the 20 minute mark he drops a good nugget about the offensive staff and play calling. Press Taylor has called this offense for two years in a row outside of the first 15 scripted plays. Same approach in Philadelphia. Doug does the first 15 and then he pulls over and hands the keys to Press.

"The offense looked different last year Vs. the previous year".

No. Not really. It was the same [BLEEP], just against tougher opponents on the schedule in 2023 Vs. 2022 and it was with the same weak [BLEEP] group of offensive lineman that got weaker in 2023 due to injuries and suspensions and then you had other injuries crop up in the receiving core, which also had a new face in it that has a bit of a growing pain period with chemistry.

And then you saw the running game get worse than it was in 2022 because you couldn't hide Etienne and you couldn't hide all of their weaknesses with play calling in the passing game against tougher opponents like you could in 2022.

He closes out very strong with another good point. Who from Baalke's camp is getting jobs or opportunities elsewhere around the NFL? None. You're not seeing scouts or assistants getting promoted or poached to help out another franchise like you do from other teams, etc.

True. BUT, if he plays his cards right, he can get a deal done with Allen now, save us the suspense and then tag Ridley to at least guarantee that he's back for 2024 while we know he can probably get a good deal done just like he did last off season with the Engram situation.

This is where Baalke can shine at times and reveal some of his very few good qualities that he has.

Compare Baalke to Dave Caldwell, Rick Spielman, and Howie Roseman. They all draft a higher percentage of Pro Bowlers. Spielman and Roseman, by far. Not sure about the RAS metric. That seems to be an athleticism measure. I'm not sure how that translates to playing time and game impact.

Compare Baalke to Dave Caldwell, Rick Spielman, and Howie Roseman. They all draft a higher percentage of Pro Bowlers. Spielman and Roseman, by far. Not sure about the RAS metric. That seems to be an athleticism measure. I'm not sure how that translates to playing time and game impact.

It is. RAS is a grading and scoring system used to evaluate the combine results per prospect based on the position, their height, their weight, their speed and overall length. It's a relatively good system and the better drafters tend to have a higher RAS average based on that website. 

Ozzie Newsome's overall run of 20 years or more is impressive and his RAS score is just a shave below 7.0. Which is pretty damn good considering the players he's drafted throughout his career. Some of those other guys have RAS averages well above 7.0.

I think if Baalke knew he was locked in for another 3 years he might take a guy like Guyton in the 1st. Guyton would be a project and not a guy that would help us this year imo with Little and Harrison, he would take over at RT in 2025.

He don't have time for projects anymore because if we don't make the playoffs at the very least next year he is likely gone. Game tape and players that are ready day 1 might be a little more important to him than in years past because his job is on the line at this point which is good because I don't want Guyton as much as I love the size and length. His draft approach changes this year i believe for the reason above

Lol, Baalke's seat ain't even warm. They've had 2 winning seasons, he's already produced enough for Shad to be ok with him.
