I love that dude. Don't always agree with his take, but I almost always appreciate his take. I'll watch that.

That said, we know the Deep State is real. After years of denying it existed, the NY Times just ran an op ed on why it's good. I'll never know why these lackeys can't see how they are being played.

You're always going to have staffers disobeying and slow-walking orders they don't agree with. Depending on how organized they are and how much they cooperate with each other, you could call that a deep state but at a deeper level it's a symptom of the overall divide in society. Government staff is divided because society is divided.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

The biggest question is why did they do the raid now? This wasn't a secret, it was known. So what changed that the FBI had to step in? The FBI has successfully kept the list of island visitors safe. I'm guessing they saw that the tide was turning and at some point the evidence would make it into court. Now they control everything again.

I doubt he was flipping but who knows. Will have to see how this plays out. If he's smart he has a get out of jail card stashed away somewhere. Right now it appears he is being sacrificed since the story couldn't be controlled any longer. He'll end up somewhere with the cameras not working unless his leverage is good enough to stay alive.
