Not surprising with a covered field, but get ready for turf burns:

I would assume artificial terms has come a long way in 20 years. I hope at least.

Laminate Vinyl Plank (LVP) lasts ~ 20 years and is water resistant. I saw we go with that.
The answer is a polarized roof. Allow sun to shine through for the grass to grow and then transition to high opaqueness for game time to provide shade.

My friend built a California style house with floor to ceiling glass, he had originally planned to use the clear to solid windows that activate with s light switch...got the price for one of those window and immediately went shopping for windows shades. $$$

Can we leave the personal insults behind for a while and get back to some semblance of topic, gents? Please, and thank you.
As someone who doesn't have to play on it, I'm ok with it! I do hope that transparent roof blocks as much heat as they think it will since that's one of the primary goals.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

Thank goodness
The playing field will be sand-infilled synthetic turf laid over a shock attenuation pad. Two FIFA-regulation soccer goals at each end of the pitch will also be accommodated in the field design. Is Jax in the path of a MLS Team as well?

The NFLPA hates turf. Miami has a partial roof and natural grass. I don't see why Jax can't have the same. Sounds bad.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

Terrible idea. Get ready for an even more injured team than we have been experiencing if this happens. But, hey, they will save a bundle on groundskeeping. Sounds like a reeaaaly good tradeoff.

Yeah I'm not a fan of this idea at all. Unless there's some new turf being developed that plays more like grass, but as of now I cringe every time we have an away game at a turf field

I thought the data on turf vs grass doesn't show a statistical difference as long as you are wearing the proper gear, e.g. shoes.
By the time they build the stadium and install the field the NFL will probably have every team playing flag football. Minimal injuries to worry about by then.
