McManus, Jaguars sued.
|
A sexual assault lawsuit has been filed against Brandon McManus and by extension the Jacksonville Jaguars. It comes from the charter flight to England last year.

More bad juju going on with this team. The the fraud guy, now this?
Hope this doesn't become a trend with active players and coaches. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? Yeah he is already cut. No way to know what really happened, but opening up asking for 1 million seems like a money grab. However, not good for the team. McManus should have to pay if he is found guilty, not the team.

Not sure if the Jags did anything wrong here. If any of them, players or staff, knew about the first incident then they shouldn't have allowed a second one to occur.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

It was a Jags charter and a Jags employee that, allegedly, harrassed the flight attendants. The question is what steps Jags took to prevent this from happening. We'll see what comes out of it but if it's even somewhat true then it's not a good look for the team, its players and its coaches. It's difficult to think this wouldn't have been noticed by others on the flight.
Well, at least it sounds like he wound up on the correct team for this season.

Yeah. He's gone but it still keeps stacking up here and there. Turning into the Bad News Jags again. No bueno. Also, not to get lost in the shuffle and come off selfish. What he did was gross and wrong. Have some sense. Acting like a London Silly Nanny is unbecoming of a Kicker. Get drunk and pass out in a fountain or pond somewhere like a Punter.
All of these "Micks" man. Settle down. You're embarrassing our Scottish and Irish heritage and ancestor's. McAfee, McManus, McDonalds. Sheesh. ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? I, who was born in a naked land and bred in the open sky. Who knows what happened at this point, that's for the court to determine, though it's likely that with the ask only being a million bucks they'll just settle. Which is a really good strategy if you're just looking for a payday from a team that makes 8 digit rounding errors in their financials. Either way though, we're already crucifying the player before we have a determination. A guy with a leg like that absolutely is capable of having one too many pints and getting into a Swashbuckling Scandal with his pork sword. To get back his reputation? Also, I doubt his thang would ever constitute the higher ground versus any other man. Might explain why he sucked down the stretch. His head was elsewhere. No pun intended.

Seems the Jaguars score more off the field than on the field.
Lock him in a room with Urban Meyer for 24hrs. Old Urban will kick some sense into him. (05-28-2024, 06:00 PM)OG-JAGFAN Wrote: Seems the Jaguars score more off the field than on the field. Bro that's not scoring. Grinding without consent is a penalty.
