This is the way. The simpletons with TDS would finally speak out against the weaponization of law as soon as every MSM outlet started shaking their fists at the behest of their corporate overlords. I am trying so hard to be civil, but moderates are killing this country. Mikey's pseudointellectualism, Marty's enabling, NYC's arrogance, Cleatwood's indifference, Hurricane's mockery. Whatever form it takes, it stems from the same ignorance and backed by the same laziness and comfort.
Uh, OK. I'm working, paying mucho taxes, whereas plenty of people on welfare are wearing MAGA hats .... and my "mockery" is killing this country? nice one !!

Again, it's not so much about Law and Order. It falls more inline with the overall hypocrisy and double standards. That's all it boils down to. That, and timing of course. It's a political stunt. They could have pushed for this two years ago after they raided his home.
Doing it six months before the election just reeks of fear and with the intent to sabotage his campaign. People see right through it now. From all angles. All parties.
You may not like the man, nor agree with him. However, there's a growing amount of support for him now after that stunt, not just from his day one crowd in 2016.

That makes more sense.
My perspective is that I do what I can do to control my own destiny, regardless of what President is elected.
Many posters seem totally reliant on the President, meaning their posts seem to imply that their lives have been devastated during the Obama and Biden terms. I say, get a grip, take control, and make something of yourself instead of relying on the Government to make your life better.
Also, I don't mock catastrophic events. I mean, just the other day I was shining my pitchfork to go down and march at Everbank when finding out they planned to replace the playing surface (grass) with artificial turf.

Yeah, I think everything you typed here is inaccurate.
We can list dozens of instances of left angled politicians and appointees undergoing investigation directed by conservatives. This is not a one sided weaponization. That is 100% horse [BLEEP].
Those investigations into the left just don't always end up in successful prosecution and this one did, because the jackass is so plainly guilty.
It is very basic law and order and the clown painted a GIANT bullseye on his forehead by running all over the country bashing the state of NY. No shock a NY prosecutor decided he'd be easy picking. And he was.
He very, VERY literally [BLEEP] around and found out.
The timing of the investigation, prosecution and trial was a drawn out process that was largely not susceptible to manipulation of schedule. Rather - it simply was not delayed by a right wing judge or held up by an ethics probe like the other two prosecutions this convicted felon is still waiting to face. Those two cases are more dire in nature and the dirtbag is lucky they are held up.
There is no growing support. The opposite in fact.
A poll just came out stating that 18% of Republicans agree with the verdict of the trial.
His numbers against Biden haven't budged other than to drop 1/2%.
All this did was rile up his base which was already in the national minority as proven by the last free, fair and certified presidential election. Being a convicted felon may rile those already entrenched, but it isn't bringing new support from the center. Don't believe a few purely anecdotal social media posts. There will be a half dozen new polls to compare for validity soon enough.
This election will show little difference from the last aside from Trump losing millions upon millions of female moderate and conservative votes due to his new harder stance on abortion and birth control. Compared to 2016 - one-third of American voting age women now live in a state that in some way inhibits their right to make decisions about their reproduction.
How many of them do you think are just gonna' be OK with that?
(hint: they didn't vote to lose those rights in their states - and now they can actually be heard from at the ballot box - they will be heard)
Those looking for a red wave are absolutely [BLEEP] kidding themselves.
He'll probably lose the popular vote by 8% or more.

We'll see in November I guess. I don't keep up with polls. Especially if you're getting those polls from any mainstream source. Have to remember, all the way up until the final hour in 2016, it was Hillary Clinton by a landslide or close one per the primary talking heads.
I am more into what I see in comment sections on various platforms and pages that lean a particular way, whether it be left or right. There's plenty of support for him. It'll show in November.
It'll also be okay when he wins, at least four years of the national temperature and economy improving here. Would say globally, unless catastrophe strikes with this current administration with our relationship in Israel and Ukraine, things will improve for the better.

There isn't much to understand.
Dumb [BLEEP] tried to hide a hush money payout and got caught.
Prosecutors got enough testimony and paper trail to stretch it into felony territory via election interference due to the timing and Nat'l Enq./Pecker tie-in.
Orange [BLEEP] was guilty as hell, so he got convicted unanimously by 12 regular American citizens selected by his own defense lawyers, one of whom admitted to getting all of his news from Trump's Truth Social app.
It's actually pitiful that the moron put himself in this situation so frivolously - then managed to alienate and piss off anyone who might be needed to insulate him from it to the point that they couldn't wait to hang him out to dry.
