Odds are heavily in favor of the party coalescing around Kamala Harris before the convention.  But if they do have a brokered convention, that would be great as far as I'm concerned, because it would be very entertaining.

You have the problem of believing what politicians say, it really affects your ability to analyze the situation and understand what's happening. Barry doesn't care if Mike wants it, now that Biden is sundowning it's the only way he gets that 4th term and he'll do anything to insure he gets it.

There was 1 article saying Obama should be the VP and then Biden says he will step down after the election. They were claiming the wording says elected more than 2 times, so being promoted from VP the 3rd time wouldn't violate the law.

It's too early to say right now. Loomer is reporting that it happened and sticking to it. There is video of him arriving but it's the normal stairs and not the short ones he has been using for a long time. Is the video old, was it a double, or was it him? We don't know but the campaign canceled things afterwards and something in Philly for Sunday.

Will have to wait 48-72 hours to see.

Then the pandemic took the turn it did and they found a perfect opportunity to steal the election with their manufactured mail in ballot scheme. Unfortunately for them they seized the Presidency then completely failed the nation while in leadership, failed to eliminate Trump as a viable candidate, AND are now stuck with an untenable executive pair who are neither one capable of winning in November. It was a terrible move to win Biden the Oval Office, all that did was ruin their party's reputation and create an internal civil war over the top of the ticket this year. If the Republicans were worth a [BLEEP] as a party this would be a "40 years in the wilderness" moment for the Dems, but they're just spineless and pathetic on the whole, which is the only real reason I believe that Mikesez might actually be a Republican. Now they have to figure out how to overcome an 8% margin, much more difficult to fake than just the 2% Trump win they had to overcome last time.

The Republicans are fixing to face the same exact situation in 2028. Once the MAGA crowd rides out it's 2nd term with Trump, it'll be hard to sway them to stick around unless they're appeased by a new face with some of the same ideology. Vivek? Maybe. DeSantis? Maybe. 

A lot can change in four years though. Even some of the people that were gung ho about Trump in 2016 are not as thrilled about voting for him again in 2024. He's not the same candidate he was eight years ago, and, naturally, he's also eight years older. 

I think of the grumblings I have seen personally with Trump, people are going to vote for him, because they have hopes with the economy improving and global tensions dwindling, but, there's some concerns with him not getting it done at the border and there's some concerns with him openly removing himself recently from Project 2025 publicly which does not sit well with true right wing conservatives. 

It'll be interesting moving forward after this next election and four years are over with. A viable third party coming on strong with actual staying power and a legitimate candidate with a chance at the table would be nice to see though. Would fully support a level headed third party candidate that isn't too liberal, isn't too conservative and is willing to be held accountable and hold those around them accountable. 

Especially if it means our nation becoming more Nationalist in nature and less Globalist influenced.
