Cam Robinson left camp today with a shoulder injury. Oh boy... here we go.

ok, now for the silver lining version. O-lines take the most time to jell together. We should see improvement as they get more "pad" days. Also, it just could be the d-line is much improved with the additions we made. Also,I am sure the defense guys are putting a bit extra in as they have a new DC.
That was the best I could do..... ![]()

Look out for Devin Lloyd to break out this year.
Respect the game. Play with a sense of urgency.
1.) Take care of the ball. Win the turnover battle. 2.) It's all about 3rd down. Win on 3rd down to win the game. 3.) Playmakers make plays. The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays. Learn from the great collapse of 2023.

I wanted them to trade up in round 2 for Powers-Johnson who dropped for no good reason. They could have given up one of their 4th's and landed a future pro-bowl interior lineman. Instead, they got a defensive tackle who is all-world athletically but has not done much since his injury. Even had they stayed put in round 2, Zack Frazier was another great prospect they could have had. Of course, they added insult to injury by passing on guys like McCormick, Bortolini, Haynes and Mahogany later on in the draft. If Lawrence doesn't have time to throw again this season, we can expect similar results to the 2nd half of 2023 and more injuries to our "savior" who was supposed to lead us to multiple playoff seasons and a possible Super Bowl. If the line doesn't look better by the start of this season, Baalke should be fired for malpractice. yeah, i wanted McCormick or Bortolini in the 4th, would have been happy with both actually with our 2 4ths. With that said, reports in camp are that Mason Smith has had a very good camp so far and has been in the backfield multiple times on different plays. Smith is getting extra work with RRh and Armstead out so hopefully this will be beneficial come the start of the season. We needed interior dline help just as much as we did IOL help so hopefully Smith can live up to his potential and it could be a great pick. BTJ has stacked about 3 or 4 consecutive practices together where he is making plays. Looks like TLaw and BTJ are starting to get in sync together, good to see.
Sad to Hear about Dewey. He is a good unsung hero.
I love the fact that Walker is putting his hands in the dirt full time. I am calling it now! 15 sacks from Walker this year! We show less advertisements to registered users. I just hope he can stay healthy for a change. He's a tough kid, but, man, that cast on his hand last year really screwed him over in coverage. He's quietly good in coverage and gets a good amount of tipped passes here and there. I expect him to pick a few passes off this year in clutch moments. Jordan Jefferson I hope provides solid depth within the interior of the defense as well because it sounds pretty early like we may regret not taking another interior lineman on offense instead. BTJ doing what he's doing is not surprising at all. He was a highlight reel at LSU last season. I think he'll be more involved than people realize right off the bat against Miami in the season opener. Love to hear it though with Maason Smith. Maybe that move will make up for Baalke's miss with Walker Little a few years ago under similar circumstances. ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? Good things will happen more often than not. He's starting to sharpen up from the outside as a rusher, but, going back to his Bulldog days, and, something I said since his rookie season. When you watched him at Georgia? His prowess and athletic ability primarily shined while kicking down inside with his hands in the dirt. He's got all the talent in the world to be a consistent nightmare if he wants it. I think we'll see close to 15 sacks this year out of him. For sure. ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? I, who was born in a naked land and bred in the open sky. Looks like all of the top picks last year have looked pretty good so far other than Strange.
DeLugo rated his top 10 guys in camp so far and had Hamilton at number 2. Looks like the old Hamilton is back and that alone will be massive for the defense. Cant wait to see a healthy Armstead next to him.

It's early on Strange, but, yeah, have to agree with you a little bit on that selection. Especially with that value there. What really hurts Strange, is that, he was relatively unknown of to begin with and buried in a pretty deep and athletic TE class. It's done him no favors that guys like Musgrave and Kraft have done more already as rookies. The one guy I coveted the most, LaPorta. Detroit nailed it. Was high on Mallory as well who ended up in our division with the clots. He had a decent year with 207 yards with under 20 catches. Not too shabby for a 5th RD selection. We'll see though. Still holding out hope for Strange. The one other TE I'll be looking at closely this year is Washington, up in Pittsburgh. That was another guy we could have had instead of Strange. If Strange doesn't show out this year they might want to consider trading around for another option. Was disappointed that Baalke didn't go after Harrison Bryant after the Browns let him walk this off season. He's a solid receiving type TE and can move and flex out. If the Raiders cut him, which is highly likely now after they drafted Mayer last year and Bowers this year, they need to pick him up. ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie?
