Katie Ledecky just smoked her opponents and set a new Olympic record for the 1500M event.

If y'all get a chance watch the women's synchro diving 10m platform. If you can't watch the whole thing watch the highlights. The Chinese team are insanely good. Holy cats!

I haven't watched a minute of it and after seeing clips of the opening "ceremony" I don't intend to watch any of it.

Can't remember the last one I did. When I was a kid and Wide World of Sports was the only place you could catch some of these competitions, I never missed a broadcast.

I watch a ton more of the winter sports than the summer ones. Probably because where I grew up, in summer you are outside, in winter, you are next to a fireplace.

The only part of the Olympics I find myself watching is the Peacock news skit that Chris Rock and Kenon Thompson are conducting.

In a way I feel the same but the opening ceremony [BLEEP] show is not the fault of the athletes and I like being able to watch sports I don't otherwise get to see.

That might be the best 100M men’s final I’ve ever seen. That was incredible!

Won't be long before we find out that the Chinese men's swimming team were juicing again this time, just like 2020.

Watching track cycling. These people put out an insane number of watts to get these bikes going and around the track in these times. Netherlands 3 man team just set an Olympic record going 400m in 41 seconds. Their watts per kilogram must be insane.

Track bike racing is insane. Watching individual sprints. Two men or two women on the track and they don't just take off, it's a very slow start where they're watching each other to see who attacks first. Very cat and mouse. It's only three laps so when one rider attacks the other has to react immediately or they could lose by thousands of a second.

I was flipping through and saw an event I've never seen before. It looked like a cross between basketball, dodgeball and soccer. They're on a court about the size of a basketball court with 7 or 8 players on each team and a netted goal on each end with a goalie. They play with a small ball about the size of a dodgeball which must be dribbled for so many steps they take. The objective is to throw the ball into the opposing team's net. I've never seen it before and don't know what it's called because the station info was saying Men's Soccer.

Anyone know what this game is? I'm just curious. It was pretty lame. I only watched for a couple of minutes.
