NFL Sunday Ticket

IIRC it was discussed last season but I don't remember much about it. For those who had it last season do you think it's worth it?

I really want to get it but with the cost increase of everything I really want this to be worth it.

Thanks for the input. Appreciate it.

I live in NY and IMO it’s definitely worth it. You can have up to 4 games on your screen at once. I think even if I lived in Jacksonville and got the Jags locally that I’d still purchase it.

Thanks. I live in NC and really want a quality broadcast. Living here it's Panthers and whatever other big team games on the antenna. Rarely Jags games.

Just remember, I think it is only on YouTube now. I could be wrong about that .

To your question. I definitely enjoy having it.

Back when Directv carried it, I used to get it free for being a loyal customer. (sigh)

For a few years it was a Jags season ticket holder free benefit. No longer though. Bastards.

NFL PLUS is a lot cheaper, but you have to waitvtillbthe games over. I live on tge west coast, so the game is over at 1. My wife and I go out and do something all morning then come watch later.
Rarely does the event get ruined. I don't check texts, and over here nobody cares about The Jags game.
I think it's $100 a year

Not worth it. The NFL has carved out a bunch of streaming-only options and other restrictions. I end up being unavailable while the games are in progress. I just bought NFL+ and do my best to watch. When I had it as part of Directv, there was always some reason I couldn't watch the broadcast I wanted. I was moved to Redzone more than I liked.

Perhaps you’ve heard of DVR?

I haven’t missed a game since I move to TX.

Amazon only games? I don't have directv or cable anymore. I understand what you are saying.

So you’re screwed on Amazon only games regardless.  Unless you have a friend willing to loan his password.   Banana

Same. When I first moved out of my parent's house and bought my home back in 2012. The biggest reason I ended up getting DirecTV was because of the NFL Sunday Ticket deal. Was really cool at the time.

My Dad gave me a ton of [BLEEP] for getting a dish though, because we live in Jacksonville, and, well, if you live here you know how [BLEEP] the weather can get with reception, etc.

It lasted about a year or two for me. I personally prefer the NFL Redzone channel over the Sunday Ticket now. Gives me everything I need if I am interested in keeping up with every team and I only want the big plays or potential scoring opportunities anyways.

I have that through my Hulu streaming package. I do, however, fully understand the need for it if you're a Jaguars fan and live out of the market or state. I would easily consider it.

I love NFL Ticket. I [BLEEP] HATE NFL Ticket via youtube. Last year me and a buddy split it to save $$$. This year got it for $109 deal cause my kid is in college.

Tempted to get the DTV Business NFL ticket, but it's $1000 and did I mention I got a kid in college. Sad

Not an issue anymore. DTV is incrementally getting out of the satellite business and going to a streaming platform. When reception is lost now, the receiver automatically goes into streaming mode.

I figured as much. Not 100% how it's done or if it's completely legal, probably illegal. But, if you're savvy with satellite's and antenna's. You can rig your roof up with something and pinpoint all kinds of [BLEEP] through some type of website. Have all the channels in the world.

I would be shocked if satellite providers didn't encrypt their signals.

Probably 10 or 15 years ago it was possible, but not so much today.  It's actually easier to get a pirate stream over the interwebs.  It's not much of an option for those of us that live in the sticks with limited internet capability.
