There’s some interesting guys deeper into the roster.

Definitely. There's going to be some tough cuts in a couple weeks. The depth looked good tonight.

Can't wait for next weekend against the Bucs.

I'm not used to that.

Impressive albeit a preseason game. This was a solid outing from the 1’s to the 2’s and the 3’s. If the bottom of the roster keeps this up there will some very tough cuts ahead.

It wasn't perfect but it was a good game overall. Intriguing depth and no one got seriously hurt. The starting offense didn't really run the ball effectively but Lawrence doesn't look injured and the new WR group looks potent. Bigsby looks better and the new kid kicking has a leg.

Very true.

I'd run with a 3 if we were offered that.

You take the 3rd rounder and pick up a QB to develop on the practice squad. Maybe resign Rourke once he becomes available again.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

Learn from the great collapse of 2023.

Can't [BLEEP] wait to see BTJ and Lawrence hook up on those throws this season. They're going to burn some dudes and Trevor has the arm to put that ball out in front for the TD all day.

Especially if the run game can even be half way decent. Please sum play action.

62 yards is longest field goal attempt in Jaguars History. But won’t be official because not in the regular season.

Off the top of my head, I believe Scobee attempted a 60 yarder against Pittsburgh.

That kick had more yards on it because it hit the net high. At least another 10 yards

The kid has a rocket leg. It didn't look like he missed by too much either. I have a feeling he's going to be making kicks here for quite some time.

Something seen on TV that can't really be seen at a game unless seated in the endzone area is how much movement Cam Little's kicks have. I don't like it because it narrows the margins. Tonight, he hooked one far left that started out on line. That English needs to come out.

Was it the one he was attempting a franchise record field goal on in his first game?

The TV views are from the endzone area.. They're straight down the goal posts.

Dude booted a 70 yard kick, of course it wasn't on a straight line through out. The majority of that kick looked pretty damn straight till right at the end when it curved. How many kickers in NFL history have made a 62 yard Field Goal.. Let alone even attempting one in their very first NFL game.

All of his other kicks tonight were money and straight on.

I saw one wiggle waggle. All of them bent to a degree. One bent too much. He's got the leg, just needs to get his lines straighter.

I've expressed a lot of skepticism about him because he's a 7th round pick who hadn't played at all, but I focused on him last night, and he looked pretty good.  Granted, he wasn't playing against first stringers, but still, he looked like at least a quality backup.
