So it's "might have happened" and "if".  That's your clear evidence?

1.  He said during his speech (paraphrasing) "we will march down to the Capitol peacefully and let our voices be heard".

2.  There is no evidence that I have seen that he was aware of the few democrat plants that were getting violent.

3.  It was pretty obvious from the MSM that I watched that the mostly peaceful protestors were carrying flags and such in support of him.

4.  Did he "wait" or did he not find out that the democrat plants were causing chaos until about three hours had passed?

So you failed to provide any real proof or evidence that President Trump "wanted" the protest to happen.  Your statement is nothing more than your liberal fantasy.

Not to mention he had offered to both the Mayor and Pelosi to call up additional National Guard as a precaution due to the expected crowd size.  Both declined.

I mean if I were going to plan an insurrection I would make sure there were troops to stop my plan said nobody ever.  Give me a break.

Yes, if there was sufficient security to "prevent harm to officials" (as you now claim), their lives were never in danger (as you previously claimed).

I checked 3 dictionaries, Webster's, Cambridge and mikesez.  in 2 out of 3, dying is considered harmful to one's health.

Did they know at the time that their lives were not in danger?
Did the police know when the battle began that they would win?

Pelosi had no control. Republicans had raised issues and the law says to spend time investigating and potentially even sending it back to state legislators to vote. If that happened, the fraud would have been seen.

What happened when they came back to the chamber?

Pelosi enacted emergency rules that she was not able to enact previously. She stopped any floor debate and was able to remove the previously given motions (or whatever the official term is) that would have forced investigation.

The version of USC 3 they were operating under did not have a mechanism for involving state legislatures. Only governors. And Pelosi was not supposed to be in control.  Pence was presiding over the count, not Pelosi.

They didn't know whether or not they had enough staff until the event was over.
Neither of us could say "they had enough staff" at 1 PM on January 6.  We could only say that starting around 4 PM on January 6. We didn't know if there was enough staff, and neither did the members of Congress.

Well Plato's approval seemed to mean something to you, so it's surprising to find that his disapproval means nothing.  Anyhow, you're not the one who is witty. You're amused by the witty but you're not witty yourself, at least not here.

I know a little about Plato.  Had to read some of his stuff freshman year at UCF.  The cave allegory, the trial of Socrates, the slave who learns math, a few others.  Brevity is the soul of wit and none of those are brief and none of them have one-liners.  

I wasn't sure so I checked wikiquote.   Sure enough the quote doesn't appear in classical writing.  It's a recent invention.  Because Plato has been dead roughly 2300 years, we only know him from his writings and what others wrote about him.  So sure, he said things that weren't quoted, but we can't know what those things are.  If you just make something up today, maybe he said it, but probably he didn't.
