Having a good run blocking TE would help, but that is not something they have prioritized.
Cam Robinson is a Guard masquerading as an OT. Sure Myles Garrett is a tough assignment for anyone, but he just looked lost against him out in space. He's the only Olineman who plays with a mean streak and he's still decent in the run game, but just can't deal with speed to power and athletic edge defenders.
Harrison - Cam Robinson - Mitch Morse - Hodges - Walker Little I really believe this is our strongest lineup. Harrison is too soft for the right side, but has the athletic traits to play LT. Robinson in a phone booth is the perfect match of skillset and role (if his ego will allow him to kick inside), Morse is the only Center on the team; Scherff has declined and I'd like to see us try some new blood at the spot whether its Hodges, Hance, Van Lanen, Walker Little etc. And then at RT I think Little is the best fit there for now. Highly doubt Rauscher & Press opt for this. But they need to make a change.
Championship Formula:
1) Draft Trevor Lawrence! 2) Play good physical Defense! 3) Keep 91% of the roster healthy! 4) ??? 5) Blank #2 6) CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
Ya'll actually think they are gonna make any changes to the O-Line?
At this point I would hope they do. But it just seems like this cruise ship is heading for the iceberg and ain't nobody gonna turn it around. Full steam ahead. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

What has happened to Anton Harrison? I fully expected him to grow after such a solid rookie season, but he seems to have taken a step back (pun?).

I guess we can all just hope and dream for something new in 2025. If only there was a way to make it so that the O-Line looked like they did during the 1st half and first 9 minutes of the Dolphins game, and in the 15 minutes of the Browns game between the 3rd and 4th Quarters. I guess it's just a mystery. (09-16-2024, 06:53 PM)homebiscuit Wrote: What has happened to Anton Harrison? Same thing that happened to Scherrf, Morse, Cleveland, Cam, Shatley and Little. They have all regressed under this coaching staff. Every single one of them and it's insane. I'm surprised that Phil Rauscher doesn't get more criticism here, the guy has 3 years in the system and it appears he's failed miserably. Whether that is offensive line coaching or requesting/demanding more talent, it falls directly on him.

Can we leave the personal insults behind for a while and get back to some semblance of topic, gents? Please, and thank you.

The line hasn't been good while he's been here, that's for sure. “An empty vessel makes the loudest sound, so they that have the least wit are the greatest babblers.”. - Plato

I guess Rauscher is in the "click" with Doug and Press. https://twitter.com/BarroomNetwork/statu...1958854002 We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

It's like linemen have a clock in their head that says after 3 seconds forget about the guy you were suppose to block.

Brandon Scherff is no longer that dude. Next season I want him gone. (09-16-2024, 09:43 PM)Eric1 Wrote: https://twitter.com/cardiacatsbrand/stat...0040050012Makes sense as the OGs were only slightly better than Fortner last year. Fortner actually looked OK this preseason when he had a competent OG next to him. He still could get over powered but there weren't free runners like last year. RG really needs to be upgraded and no clue how to fix Cleveland. Sent from my SM-T970 using Tapatalk
Heard a sound bite on the radio of Tony Boselli dunking on the O line, commenting that it wasn’t properly addressed when the FO said it was.
