I was calling for his head last year.  They fired the assistant oline coach lol.  I guess Rauscher is in the "click" with Doug and Press.

I should of posted that yesterday but I felt bad doing so.

Fire Trent Baalke.

What does he know about it? The Message Board Gang knows it's just the play calling.

I'm just getting around to watching Jaguars Happy hour from yesterday, and Pete Prisco and Tony Boselli are ROASTING the offensive line. Burning them to a crisp.

But, really, that's on Doug, and Trent, as well as those players. They are responsible.

I'm almost positive I could draft better than Baalke.

They also roasted the coaching staff, for things like not getting plays in on time, and the team appearing very unmotivated.

So it looks like Mitch Morse actually played fairly well?

And Scherff and Harrison totally sucked?

Morse is not the problem. It's disheartening to see Anton playing so poorly. The others are pretty much as advertised: Cam is below average, Scherff is over the hill, and Cleveland is good pass/bad run just like he's always been.

It's sad the guy we thought was going to be one of our top players has been arguably our worst in Harrison.  If he has another bad game Monday night as well as Scherrf I'd try Harrison at RG and put Van Lannen at RT who was by far our best olineman in the Preseason.   Maybe Harrison could look better at guard and if Cam has another bad game it's time to give Little another chance at LT.  If players continue to play poorly we have to make changes imo

At this point I would hope they do. But it just seems like this cruise ship is heading for the iceberg and ain't nobody gonna turn it around. Full steam ahead.

Nope. The off season was the time to have done that. We just have to live with it now. Maybe Scherff gets benched. But other than that? Nope.

Morse will likely settle in just fine in time and is far from the root of the problem.

Cleveland not returning to form is a problem, Scherff regressing is a problem, Anton Harrison falling off of the edge of the planet is the most unforeseen problem I can imagine right now, and Cam is always gonna give up pressures to speed and we knew that coming in.

If Harrison can find his form and the guards can reach some sort of mid-tier "solid" level of play, we have a chance.

If those three continue to struggle - we're probably looking at 7-8 wins.
It's a long season. Maybe they'll turn a corner.

The crazy thing is, we still could have won both of those games.  Miami punches the ball out of Etienne's hands, and the Cleveland punter puts the ball out on the 1-yard line.  Bad as things look, we still could have won both of those games.

Yep, a couple bad bounces go the other way and the Jags are 2-0. They certainly need to play better, but they aren't anywhere near as bad as lots of other teams. They're a mid-pack team beaten by two other mid-pack teams.

Same as last year. RB's making magic out of lunchmeat. They're good on 1st and 10+ and just pure dog [BLEEP] on 90% of their run calls with 3 yards or less to gain on any down.

That can be fixed and/or avoided to some extent and it will happen here shortly I would imagine after two weeks of failing.

Maybe it already is. That could be the reason they will not tell us who is calling the plays.  If it is maybe it was hallucinating.

Interesting stat. The jags o-line is ranked 27th after 2 weeks. Actually better than I would have though. There are no teams with a winning record without a line ranked 15th or above. I am hoping our line "grows together" as Doug mentioned and we can rise in this ranking.
