Is that an intimidating statement made in a Trevor Lawrence voice?

Are there levels to the TL threat?

Like DEFCON?

LOL!  I meant "thread".  But yeah, that's funny right there.

Ha ha!

It's DEFCON Zero-and-Two.  Not the worst situation to be in, but tensions are escalating.

We were at TrevCon 2 at that last press conference.

At least these are all Trevor Lawrence based snipes.  I'll accept them.

I only wear Red Polo's on Sunday Golf, or after I had sex.

It's not often, but it does happen.

Against the Browns, the offense was humming when we started being agressive and unpredictable.  Why not have an entire game plan where we're agressive and unpredictable?  Lawrence is a great QB.  I think we should allow him to sling the ball.  That's when we're at our best.  Plus now, we have BTJ.  Dude is becoming a star.  We should be leaning into our strengths.

And that is when Trevor is allowed to throw first.

The fact that you can't correlate that pressure percentage citation with an answer to "why not throw more?" is somewhat impressive in its daftness.

They said he was going off on his teammates and looked fired up at one point on the sideline.

He'll probably take charge and start using his legs more next week to move the chains.

If he has a Saints type game from last year that would be pretty cool. His mobility is underrated.

It's the chicken or egg argument.  Again, I think if we do more to be unpredictable on 1st and 2nd downs, it will allow more time for Trevor to throw because the defense isn't able to pin their ears back and just rush the passer, or fill the box to stuff the run...

We paid Trevor top 5 money.  Let's cash that in.  Put more responsibility on Lawrence.

There continues to be national mumblings that T-Law's balls are hard to catch or something? Matt Ryan even came on and was like Trevor throws the ball too hard.

Watching the Jags games, I don't get that sense. But I don't watch enough of the other NFL games to know how he compares.

There's a throw every week that a receiver drops and the reaction is that he put too much on it.

There have been times it was an accurate assessment. (mostly his first two seasons)

But I find most of them ridiculous. I mean - he hit BTJ right in the hands with perfect placement in front of the facemark leading his route etc Sunday and it was dropped.  Yes, it had heat on it, yes fans echoed this old complaint again.

It was a very catchable ball from a QB under duress. Unless it's a RB, I put most of those on the receivers.

We've seen three players (Zay, Kirk, Engram) come here from other teams and immediately have career high receiving numbers with Trevor.

That doesn't sound like "hard to catch" to me.

Maybe you meant THREATCON. They're not the same but I like how you're thinking.

According to OverTheCap.com, a site that tracks NFL player contracts, the Jaguars' offensive line's combined salary of $53,395,550 for the upcoming season ranks No. 1 in the NFL among teams at that position, just edging out the Cleveland Browns at $53,382,682.

That doesn't mean they spent the money on the right people.

more throws should reduce the percentage by increasing the denominator
or something like that.

What the hell are you on about?

I'm just posting multiple stats that show why our QB has not been more productive for two weeks.
His line isn't protecting him and his receivers are dropping balls at a high rate.

I'm not recommending more or less passing - just wish that the blockers would make their blocks and the catchers make their catches.

Very simple stuff here.
