The difference between 2022 and 2023 was minuscule. 
Very little changed offensively. 

This part I 100% am in agreement with.

I would like to go back to more of the quick release passes. 2nd and 3? I'd rather a quick pass than try to bully ourselves up the middle over and over that's not working. Just take the training wheels off Trevor for once.

Also though, maybe all of this gripe can be mitigated if they can get the play calls in with time to make adjustments at the line

First, I checked.  We went from 9th in Offensive scoring (2022) to 15th in 2023.  

Second, I totally agree with the bolded.

 The delay of games were pretty troublesome in 2023.  And now it's even worse.  My theory, and it's just my opinion, is that Doug is trying to coach Press on play calling IN GAME, and it's causing confusion in the huddle.  

If that's not the case, then are we to believe that Trevor Lawrence is too slow to understand the play call coming in and how to relay the call to the team in the huddle?

What's Belichick going to consult on? He was a terrible personnel man and his in game work was getting pretty bad at the end of Brady's time there. I think he's overrated.

I don't think he's overrated at all. He sucked at drafting WR's early. He swung and missed on Mac Jones, eventhough he did make the play off's with him as a rookie and beat a talented Bills team in the snow with Mac having 3 whopping pass attempts in said game.

He nailed the TE position throughout his career, was somewhat innovative there, he's easily one of the greatest defensive minds and coaches of the modern era and he traditionally at least built quality offensive line units and competent running games. Above all? He held people accountable.

He would be a great consultant in my opinion.

Would love to add BB.  That would be a slam dunk hire and he has his QB.  Also has a lot of pieces on defense and a good group of pass catchers.  He also had a good eye for lineman he just always picked towards the back of the draft. If he came here though I would also bring in a GM.

Just spit ballin', but what if you brought in BB as the GM?  Of course that would mean he'd hire a HC...  And god only knows what kinda crazy HC he'd want to hire from his "tree"...  LOL That might be disastrous!

Thankfully we are going to Buffalo in September. Sadly this is on MNF and if we play like we did yesterday the criticism will be extremely loud.

My frustration is we've had good moments in games, Q's where we've looked a good team. Then we look terrible. It's going to be a very tough game against a team playing well and looking to shut up their own critics.

This one could get ugly, real ugly. My only wish is too see heart and effort. I want to see us play as clean a game as possible mistake and penalty wise and trying something new to fix the current problems. Our attitude will tell us a lot about things behind the scenes right now 

Oh and getting playcalls in on time. I know I'm being greedy.

Either they look a lot better and win or the national media maybe calls out the terrible Oline and play call coaching issues.

Basically yeah. The team is on a horrible run right now but it's not a bad team that has no chance. It's a pretty good team making enough mistakes and lacking confidence and ending up on the wrong end of close games.

I just want to see a team that's angry and wants to turn things around on Monday.

Credit to Ryan Nielsen and Kris Richard for making things work in spite of challenges.

Richard is underrated. A good coach in his own right with defensive coordinator capabilities. He was pretty good in Seattle for three years.

Can't wait to see what they cook up for Josh Allen. This will easily be one of their toughest challenges of the year.
