But with Press as the OC that's game planning, scheming for the week's opponent, creating play designs, calling plays, and "making half-time adjustments"?Man. So much this. Trevor is an orchid.
He'll only thrive in perfect conditions.

He's not who we thought he was unfortunately.
Doesn't help that this team can't assist him but great QBs can lift their teams on their back. He's got some work to do to get better - in addition to the rest of this team. We have failed him and he has failed us.

Simple throws being missed consistently and egregious turnovers more games than not. The INT tonight was things you don't even see at pee-wee levels.

He won’t be going anywhere for a few years, but he’s looked horrible 3 weeks in a row. 8 straight losses and counting. Stafford showed flashes of being elite in Detroit. What game from Lawrence has left you saying, wow he’s going to be elite?

I'm a BPA guy all the way. But we have been backed into a position where we have to go all oline and whatever it takes to help Ttevor now. We need to draft the best tackle in the draft and then trade back up for another high quality starter in the oline. We have passed up so many good olineman in the draft over the years we will now have to reach for lineman.

He s becoming Doug's new Carson Wentz. Good for the 1st couple of years, Mediocre to bad after.

The offense line is bad but so is Trevor. The announcers were calling out easy throws he was missing.
You give Trevor a real Offensive minded HC with a real OC, and this whole thing changes.
We're back to playing an NFL style offense that nobody else runs. It's not Trevor. He's proven he can be a franchise QB. But when you have a coaching staff that has no clue how to actually run an offense, there's not a QB that we can bring in that will be succesful. Hypothetical: Do you all think that Patrick Mahommes would actually be able to run this trash offense? There's no way. It's not the QB. It's the coaching.
Daniel's
21/23 253 yrds 2 TD 0 int 40 rush yrds and 1 TD. Dude put that team on his back. Our roster is better than the Commander imo. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

My only real memory where I said ok maybe Trevor is him, is when they came back in that playoff game against the Chargers. Then I remember, he threw 4 ints in that same game. Every regular season game I’ve never said WOW Trevor has some elite tools he can carry a team. There’s been times he makes a great throw, like the one to BTJ in Miami, but there’s just no consistency. He has yet to put together an elite game. Now, I understand elite QBs are a rarity, but it might be time to just understand he’s just not elite.

He was doing fine considering his line play until that fateful MNF game last year. Something happened. I think the Carson Wentz comparison is apt. He got injured and then after then wasn’t the same. And guess who the common denominator is…. (09-23-2024, 10:52 PM)flgatorsandjags Wrote: Daniel's But the Bengals are 0-3. Burrow is a bust a complete waste of money. He's terrible and everything wrong with the Bengals. Am I doing it right? |
