I honestly think that if we had won that game, we’d be 3-0 or at least 2-1 rn

Everyone from the GM on down needs to go.  I'd give Rick Spielman a call, or start immediately on a the job of researching who I want to hire for my next GM.  We have to get that position right this time.  Then, let the GM go to work on the job of finding his coaching staff.

I would be feeling that I am the reason my franchise, generational QB will have had 4 head coaches in 5 years and I am a huge part of the problem..

Hogwash. You're emotional.

the Bradley/Gabbert years were hopeless, hapless, and miserable.

At least with this team, there's hope that with the right changes, the ship can be righted. Back then, the only possibility was to nuke it all and start from ground zero.

The drafts are just as disjointed as our on-field performance seems to be. There is no harmony, no philosophy, no purpose. Just assemble 53 guys, hope it works out.

That's the thing.

Khan needs to sit all the power in a room and ask what we are doing to fix this. If anyone shrugs their shoulders with an "I dunno", they're gone today. If anyone has an idea, they need to try it, and if it fails, gone. We can't do much today to address roster/darft, but dang if we don't need to figure out who the heck we are and start building the team to fit that form.

And if the form is just what we've been, smell ya later, we know that don't work.

I have very little confidence that anyone in that room specifically knows what to do to "fix this", and that is the heart of our problems.

How do you know Baalke is just taking the guys he wants?  You don't, you are making that up.  Baalke and Doug have both said they get together on draft as well as all the coaches and it's collaborative when making picks and bringing guys in.

The drafts are joined by Baalke's tape measure, his need to pick RB/LB/DB like it's 1986, and his love of guys with injury history.

Just going to be honest here.. I love this team to death. Been a fan since day 1, never a full STH, but used to purchase the 3-4 game packages, purchased jerseys and all the swag like the rest of you..

But now I'm at the point where I don't even care if they ever do move this team out of town. Just tired of caring about a team that doesn't care about it's fans. I'll never abandon them, but it sure feels like they abandon us, every season.

I know as a small market we're going to be off some free agents' radars as a potential landing spot, but I wonder if that mindset is even more prevalent than I imagined.  We got really lucky with Calais and I think Engram was a really good signing as well who is unfortunately dealing with a hammy at the moment.  Kirk was probably necessary at the time and was really good for us up until his injury last year. He did have a decent night last night.  Who else in recent memory though? Maybe Agnew I guess?   It just feels like we get these guys that come here to cash their checks and be mid or worse.

That's all this team is to the free agents, a piggy bank. They're sure not coming here for a ring.

Man, I haven't felt this depressed after a loss in a long time. Even during the Urban losses, at least there was a sense of black comedy to it.

This type of loss hits so differently. It's like finding out your puppy you have to put your down because of an inoperable disease. So much potential. Everything felt like it was our time. And then bam, one fumble at the goal line, and this entire team, and the HC completly go lifeless.

Doug's press conferences, lifeless. He has no idea how to fix things. The only one that seems to still care is Trevor.

I agree with firing everyone. I'd prefer they fire everyone now and maybe we can salvage the season. But I get the idea of just letting Doug continue to ruin this team and drive us further into the iceberg he hit 3 weeks ago. That way at least we can get a top 3 draft pick. Heck, the way Doug is running this team, we may have the #1 overall pick this year.

I'm really done with Doug Pederson. He's lost the locker room, and he lost me as fan. Baalke should be fired too. But I really blame most of this on Doug and his inability to put the team ahead of his buddy.

I will say this has been the most depressing season 3 games in ever. When we sucked before we knew we were in rebuilds for most of them. This team is supposed to be competitive for a SB with the leading sack edge duo from last year, a newly signed quarter billion dollar QB, 2 good backs, a really good LB corps, a solid WR corps, one of the best TEs etc. Man this season is depressing. 3 games in and we all know ow our season is over and we will clean house at season end and start over.
