*** Official Game Day Thread - clots @ Jags ***
|
We walked into the stadium expecting another loss, and there were a few times the Jags looked like they were trying to give it away. The fourth quarter was disastrous, but still, the Jags held on.
Trevor played better but he's still not seeing the entire field. That pass to BJT in TRIPLE coverage was simply bad. Just bad. However, his touch seemed to be back and he hit some long and tight shots. Tank is coming into his own. That dude was juking some ankle breakers. The offensive line continues to improve. They did a good job of keeping Trevor protected but their run blocking isn't where it needs to be. As a bonus, it didn't rain much during the game and even held off until about 20 minutes after the game. Then it came down in buckets. We show less advertisements to registered users. Twenty [BLEEP] four points in the final quarter alone. 2 of those scoring drives only took a combined 1 minute and 20ish seconds off the clock, resulting in 14 points. It was always the Jaguars. This team has so much talent in so many areas. The Secondary has holes in it. But the LB corps holds up. And Buster Brown is Johnny on the Spot in key situations to get the D off the field. Should this have been a blow out? Yeah, it should have been. But this win feels important to me. The entire team gave no [BLEEP]. Mistakes were made throughout the team. But the team held. That's the type of game you want to see. On to London!!!

I was looking tosee if we improved any from the last home game. Remember this is just me looking from the south end zone. The main reason was Colt who made the INT jumped the route because he was able to follow Trevor's eyes. He was supposed to be covering Davis.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.
I want to see him try from 65+ so bad. He 100% has the leg for it.

Then in January, when we need 3 to get into the playoffs, he'll dead center a 65 yarder against the clots. (10-06-2024, 09:13 PM)Eric1 Wrote: I want to see him try from 65+ so bad.
