That ‘stout’ Indy line let up over 250 rushing yards yesterday.

Yep, the Bears defense was much tougher.

Caleb took a beating, Will Anderson had a very similar play from the right side that he didn't see coming.  7 sacks and 11 QB hits.  The bad news for Caleb is that the Texans played man-to-man and continuously blitzed him throughout the game, future defenses will copy that system until he learns to make them pay for sending an extra guy.

Well…that wasn’t the point.  You were trying to convince me how ‘stout’ the Colts D-line was.

Aah, sorry.  Most of that was me relaying, "The Colts Run Defense allowed just 4.1 Yards Per Carry in 2022 and 2023, good for 5th and 10th in those years respectively."  But you're right, they've fallen off a cliff 2 games in.

None of the AFC South teams look promising.

And yes that's also including the Texans.

Looks like the Jags are in the Texans-Vikings coverage map: Coverage Map   Should be a good game to tune in to.

You were correct.  It was a great game to tune in to.

Unfortunately I think it's a preview of tomorrow night's game.  Offense unable to do much, defense unable to stop anything.

Maybe...or...maybe the Jags match up against the Bills and have a shot at winning tomorrow.

Either way...I'm going to enjoy watching the Texans and Titans games the rest of the night, and spending time on the Titan's message board.   They should be REAL happy right about now.   Smile

Wow, the Texans were dominated on both sides of the ball.  Not that it made any difference to the game at all, but every bit of luck went the Vikings way.

You lost 34 to 7. But yes "LUCK".

Stroud looked bad.

Umm, did you read the precursor, "Not that it made any difference in the game at all"?  Don't be that guy.  Particularly after the first comment.  It was the Oline that was the biggest sin on the offensive Texans side of the ball, and the inability to cover #18 on the defensive side until the second half of the game.  Credit to Brian Flores for his defensive scheme, but the Oline was not only insanely stupid on getting pre-snap penalties, but they weren't any better once the ball was snapped.  But you're right, Stroud wasn't good.  Stroud held onto the ball way to long, trying to find anything that was open, to his own detriment.

Nico apparently has a hamstring issue. Hopefully it contributes to some losses for the tinhorns in the coming weeks.

He's listed as day-to-day, but you never know with a hamstring injury.  The good news (for the Texans) is that he should be able to sit against the Texans next opponent, the (1-4) Patriots and, of course, the WR room is extremely deep.  Diggs, Dell, and Hutchinson is still a pretty solid group, with Woods and Metchie sitting behind them.  The biggest thing that will be missed is the Stroud-Nico connection on off-schedule plays (usually on 3rd and forever.)

CJ was 10/21 for 86 yards versus the Packers today. Will be interesting to follow his success or lack there of minus Nico for the next few weeks.

WOOF

Makes Richardson's 10/24 for 129 a little less ugly, but not really.

Hard to YOLO those bombs when your receivers aren't running 10 yards wide open.
