Zero is no where near the caliber of player as Zay Jones.  I get why we let him go.  He had a bad year in 2023 and his off feild issues.  But Zay is light year ahead of this guy.

[BLEEP], man.  I'd rather they put Zero on the practice squad and bring up another WR.  Dude's a [BLEEP] team mate, and he doesn't deliver.  Classic locker room cancer.

With how it's going this guy might be the perfect catalyst to getting us into more two tight end sets once Engram gets back. Strange is coming on (lol) and I'd rather have him out there with Evan, Kirk, and BTj than the 3 WR set with Davis.

Honestly, that would be pretty sweet.  Do you think it would be similar to how the Patriots used Gronk and Hernandez?

The possibilities with Strange and Engram at TE with Kirk and BTJ...  All with Tank or ETN in the backfield.   That would be dangerous....  So many seam routes...  So many possibilites.

Goedert and Ertz went for something like 900 and 6 TDs in Philly in the same season, that's probably more what happens once their both on the field. I thought the pats made their TEs the primary focus of the offense, I don't think Pederson will let them go away from BTj and Kirk that far.

You're right.  Kirk and BTJ are more talented than the WRs the pats had back then.  Good point.

This right here.

I'd give Parker Washington his deserved shot and to develop more chemistry with TLaw and the offense.

Gabe is a complete non-factor and I'd rather give Parker his reps - even if Parker might be slated more for the CKirk role.

That one is tough - because the only way it probably works is if they put Kirk in the Z and Washington in the slot.

Kirk at Z will rob him of some effectiveness - but he's probably better than Davis there.

Personally - I think they roll with what they have and give Davis more time to come around - knowing they have Engram coming back soon to add another viable target.

Yeah that's my only point of hesitation, but I'm confident that Kirk would outperform Davis in the Z-role even if he loses some effectiveness like you said.

Bringing Engram back in the picture will provide massive dividends for TLaw and this passing game, but Strange has been pretty serviceable as a stop-gap.

I feared Davis would be exactly what he is when we brought him in, especially with Bills fans sounding the alarm on him. He's due for his "get right" game soon and with BTJ is emerging as a true WR1 threat, it's only going to open up more opportunities for Kirk and Davis.

He will play better and help out as a solid 3rd wr. This first part of the season has been the perfect storm, but things are about to improve.

The dude fumbles a lot. The last thing this team needs is more wr fumbles.

I'm really not tripping too hard about the fumble - I'll have to watch again but it looked like a pretty flukey punch out by the defender.

I did see on twitter that Lawrence was arguing with him on the sideline and they had to be separated.
That may be a concern.

they almost immediately reconciled. emotions get heated, but Gabe needs to understand he ain't the alpha in this pack

Tim Jones needs to teach him how to cover kicks.

Like Gabe Davis? How about Tank Bigsby from last year too?

Parker would certainly bring more production in the WR room than Davis.

Part of the reason he was brought here was for blocking. Hopefully he is going ok in that department, because receiving wise he is cooked.

To be fair, remember to put his face next to the headlines "Tank Bigsby goes off, scores 2 TDs", "Travon has monster game including 3 sacks, 1 forced fumble", "Brenton Strange pick paying dividends in second year" and "Jags trade back in draft picking up extra picks in 2025 while still landing Brian Thomas Jr." among others.  I don't like the Davis signing so far as I've said previously and obviously we had concerns about the O-line the first few weeks, but no GM is mistake free.  Yesterday was anything but a "Fire Baalke" type of day.  It was actually very much a "shut the [BLEEP] up haters" type of day. And that's not directed specifically at you.

Just give Davis a microphone so he can yell at Lawrence directly on the sidelines. Seems like he needed that. If the coaches won't do it. Let him do it.

This idea that Zero's [BLEEP] session on the sidelines is what sparked Lawrence's game to improve is nonsense. Dude should shut his mouth and hold on the football. A mediocre WR that is also a diva? I pass on that.

he's also the 4th option, you gotta keep that in mind. How many fourth men up are game breakers?
