The average fan and SEASON TICKET holder can make the trip down to the game and back in one day. Also, the Jaguars and the University of Florida are growing ties with each other on a number of fronts. Neither side is beating their chest talking about "leverage" and "imposing" their will on the other. no, in this case reading comprehension ... lol But actually it is not 90,000 it is actually 88,000. Everbank has a seating capacity of 77,000 so it actually is not much less. However your point is valid..

I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

I'll say this to be taken with a grain of salt due to my ignorance - I dunno if this temporary home requires owner approval or if the team has freedom to choose as they wish.
G'ville stadium might be more ready today. It might be closer for the home crowd to make it to the game. The uphill battle over ORD would be from the outside perspective. Simply put, travel for visitors will be easier via ORD - larger airport, likely more rentals available, more entertainment options for visitors that G'ville simply cannot compete with. If we are looking exclusively at 3 hours on a Sunday, G'ville might be the best choice. I don't know that you'll be able to sway 31 other owners to agree with that, unless Alachua county starts sending envelopes full of cash to 30-odd billionaires. The swamp only holds 11,000 more than Everbank. It would be insignificant and allow an extra advertising opportunity. We already have the tarps available. After the Hurricane, this insolent guy should divert his attention to Tampa as I hear Tropicana Field took some damage.

I still think Daytona would be the best spot... I haven't really been following this whole thing. But Daytona International Speedway would be such a cool place to hold some home games. Honestly, I think it would be like Mardi Gras. There would be so much going on because of the space around.
It's a perfect place, in my opinion. And it would be just an hour to two hours away from the fan base. It's my understanding (from interpreting Lamping's comments) that the team would work prospective deals with viable second venues and then seek league approval. They have moved on from Daytona. The France family is tough to deal with. They like putting conditions on stuff.

Orlando doesnt care about the Jaguars. All they care about is the Magic (barely) and their gay soccer team. Hard pass.
