Week 7 Pats talk

Thoughts?

Maye put up almost 250 yrds and had 3 TDs with 2 INTs against a really good Texans D in his first career game.   Maye could have his breakout game against the worst pass D in the league.  This game could very well be the number 1 pick in the draft.    We might get Campbell back and he could possibly be the difference between a win and a loss if he replaces Darby.  It should be a good one in London.

I plan to just keep drinking Saturday night instead of practically drowning myself Sunday morning.

It's already ugly around these parts.

Lose to the Pats in London after staying over there the entire week, would it get even uglier? Is that even possible?

I say yes.

Got to win. Got to win.

Even if they win, I’m still firing Baalke and Pederson/Press.

It’s over.

I hope we don’t go do something stupid like win this game

I'll be on the road to Orlando to catch a cruise. Won't have the pleasure to be here with you all to loathe this team's existence. I wish you all the best of luck that day. I for one will be dodging any radio talk or updates on my phone about that game. LOL.

The Jags win to give some false sense of hope and optimism to the fans. Then they lose to GB by at least 30 points and reality sets in.

The Patriots at least have some sort of chance with Maye as their QB. We have little or nothing to build upon. It's going to be a complete rebuild.

I agree. Vegas is giving us -200 right now in favor of us winning but I know better. I am taking New England in this one. Somehow, someway, this team is going to [BLEEP] the bed. Even with good intentions and a rah-rah speech. It doesn't seem to matter.

Somebody will blow an assignment.
Somebody will muff a kick off or punt.
Somebody will put the ball on the ground after teasing us with a good play.

It's just bound to go wrong no matter what they do. This team has no fight in it. At all. When I saw Williams hit that TD pass to Kmet you could see the energy and excitement on their sideline. The team didn't fold neither when he threw an INT inside the redzone that should have been a TD pass. They rallied around the kid. Made adjustments and went right back out there and got after it.

We miss that on this football team. That element is what separated that 2022 team from 2023's team and especially this year's team. No bounce back. No fight. No heart.

Don't worry. That won't happen.

This is really a Battle of the Bums game. Like someone said, either way I think I am firing some staff on the way back from London. It is Khan so I expect no change.

I think New England wins this one. They suck but so do we.

I am taking the Pats here. Bad teams like the Jaguars find ways to shoot themselves in the foot.

Coming back from London 1-6.

This season man... The schedule on the whole still looks incredibly weak to me with a lot of winnable games if we don't continually shoot ourselves in the foot, but you can't, at this point, expect us not to shoot ourselves in the foot. Maye will probably look like the second coming of Brady this weekend.

It really is like it is a no win situation.  If we win it is no big deal because the Pats really are awful. If we lose it is going to be in a typical Jagwad type of way.

It just occured to be that some guys with access to the locker room or "sources" should leak stuff. What has Dilla sadi? Why can't someone in the media say something? Are they just mouthpieces for the team? Or just full of it...

Jags fold like a cheap tent at the 1st sign of adversity. They seem mentally weak and leaderless. A lot of that is coaching, but at some point, the players need to get pissed over how inept they look. Maybe they dont have the level of professional pride needed to succeed in the NFL. Honestly, they should be 0- 7, they almost gave away the Clots game which was well in hand. I'm taking the Pats.

Fire 3 keep one. Who would it be?

Choices are Doug , Balkie, press, Nielsen. You have to keep one.

I'm keeping Nielsen. He's new but the others failed last year too

Erroneous hypothetical. You get rid of the GM, the rest should be swept away by the new hire. In a normal world. But this is the Khan bizzaro world, so who knows? They all need to go.

There’s two options here.

We win, and no one gets fired until at least the bye week.

Or we lose, and Doug is likely fired when we get back.

Khan is slow to make moves in general, he definitely won’t do anything immediately following a win. My gut tells me we’re going to win and drag this dead corpse of a staff through at least another 5 weeks
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
