RRH Traded

As someone who drafted a ton of ETN in best ball this year, was really hoping he would get traded to a contender in need of a RB. Then he tweaks his hammy. He probably would have provided the most value in a fire sale. He is set to make 6 mil next year, so it's not breaking the bank for a contender to grab a young talented rb who needs a change of scenery.

ETN has little value because he's injury prone and a running back. Kirk isn't going anywhere either.

That's an easy conclusion to make after a trade at 1-5, but I'm not sure it necessarily means that by itself.  We have a lot of young guys behind him that will fill the vacuum and he hasn't been a significant contributor since 2022.  If we start trading other pieces then yeah I would see it as a throwing in the towel type of move, but I'm not ready to go there just yet.
There are few other players we could trade and it still wouldn't be throwing in the towel.  It would just be getting rid of dead weight.

The sell off has begun.

I would classify this differently. RRH is a good front runner. Played hard and did well the last half of 2022 after we began making a run. Other than that has been a 50% and lower type. It also could be a warning shot at the team over effort and motivation. My question is is he rowing back from London?

Ooh a fire sale.  The Texans will take Maason Smith for a 3rd rounder, Tank Bigsby or Ventrell Miller for a 4th, and/or trade Trevor Lawrence for CJ Stroud for a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounder in perpetuity--but we have to split the dead money.   Tongue

Great Baalke has another 6th round pick that is worthless for trading up and useless if you have a good roster.

Once a loser always a loser. This team has always been a franchinse of losers, and quiters even when they have the rare years  getting into playoffs.   they always go away from whats working, and to  plays that never work.

Once Loserville always Loserville. Duval is dead now,and fore ever!!!!!!!!!   for the team, not the county.      They are now,and will fore ever be Loserville because they will never never ever sniff a Super bowl.

Texans, tittians, lions, browns, and even vikeings will win a Super Bowl before jags even get close to one.

It must’ve been RRH that got the 12 man penalty instead of Hamilton.

I know that, but the game shouldn't f even come to a call like that. we are winning by 10 at the time,nd  we start with nothing but run, run, run instead of mixing up plays. you don't give Tom Brady those extra chances.

I'm not going to argue with that.  You're right.  But we still were close to the SB.  Like really close.  We just got [BLEEP] over.  We're not Loserville, we're just not respected.  But you only get respect when you earn it.  And you only earn respect when you have leadership that demands it.  And leadership comes from the GM and HC and Owner all on the same page.  We don't have that right now.

I just think that we are closer to being good than we are to being Loserville.  The Owner needs to sweep out the trash and bring in NFL professionals that have the desire and passion to change the culture.

You know better than that. Our worst players go to other teams and thrive. Some win SB rings.

The roster needs a complete overhaul.  Even a 2026 sixth-rounder is better than nothing .

lol read some interesting details on RRH

Shad allowed Baalke to overpay in FA for RRH
Shad allowed Baalke to extend RRH in 2023
Shad allowed Baalke to trade him now, resulting in a DEAD cap of 7 million for 2025.

Oh and we got a meaningless 2026 6th lmao.

A Baalke masterclass.

Spotrac lists RRH's dead cap at ~$1.1M for 2024 and the post June 1st trade scenario lists it at $0 dead cap.

Lloyd is good when he doesn't have to pass coverage.  I'm not down on Lloyd.  I'd rather have him instead of Muma.  Trade Muma.

In all honesty I think you guys could really use Travon Walker, better than we could at this point.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.
