Jags @ Eagles just replaced with clots @ Vikings. I get it based on where we are record wise at the moment, but does anyone really believe in the clots or AR? I don't. It just doesn't seem like a juicy enough game to warrant flexing us or any other team out for.

My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

Eh, whatever. We don't really need prime time right now. Probably did us a favor. But for the clots?!
What would be sweet is if we won against the Eagles while the clots received an epic beatdown.

I know it sounds crazy, but being moved to the afternoon instead of having to deal with a jacked up Philly crowd for a nationally televised night game kinda works in our favor. Not saying we’ll win, but the odds have to be a little better.
Jaguars Fundamentalist
Could also depend on what is available. Certain games get a "protected" designation from the networks, meaning they cant be shifted around to primetime on other networks.
The less primetime games the Jaguars have the better off we are I think. Prime time has brought out the worst in us. I liked us better just flying under the radar and trying to claw our way up the mountain. We don't deserve the lime light this season.

I'm totally fine with being flexed out, we deserve to not have prime time games. But the clots and vikings? Yuck. What's worse is that you know Collinsworth is going to be all on Anthony Richardson's jock the entire game. He's so insufferable with his praise for the flavor of the month players. I don't think I'll be able to suffer through that broadcast. (10-21-2024, 03:15 PM)JaguarJosh2 Wrote: The less primetime games the Jaguars have the better off we are I think. If we played all our games at 9:30 AM when everyone else in the country is alseep or at their preferred places of worship, we may very well be a .500 team!!!
Good news. We dont need another national humiliation for a while.

We have a better chance of winning this way. Good with me

I think it's well within this team to win at least 3 of the next 5 games. It's not like we're hopelessly untalented. We're just poorly coached. If Nielsen can pull his head out of his butt and Doug can climb out of his funk, we stand a good chance of winning against any team.
Well, maybe not against the stupid Chiefs...

And now our national nightmare has ended. It's better this way, imo.
