I tend to feel the same way.

However - if we're looking for a bright spot - the secondary will now feature Jarrion Jones at nickel and Tyson Campbell back on the field.

Last week Campbell was targeted 5 times and gave up 2 completions for 25 yards. No TD.
Jones was targeted 5 times and gave up 3 completions for 25 yards. No TD.

If they can get the other corner and the safeties to tighten up, the packers could be limited.

If Foye is back that would be huge. I like Wingard but let’s not pretend he’s any better than who’s currently out there at S.

I’d like to see Buster get some time as the #2 CB opposite Campbell. I think he outplayed Darby significantly in those games he was starting.

This game is a really good test. If we can win, then we’re right back in the hunt. Especially since Houston looks like they’re good but not world beaters. We could be 1 game out of a wildcard spot with a win Sunday and some other losses.

But also, if we get our doors blown off then we’re right back on the “fire Doug” train.

If Nielsen can get his side of the ship corrected, then we have a shot

- starting Armstead inside
- Foye and Miller starting
- Dewey Wingard summoning the spirit of Sean Taylor in his locker

Coming back from London, I'm not expecting the Jags to start with a lot of energy. They'll need some turnovers by Love in order to keep it close in the first half.

Then, if they can get some momentum going in the 3rd, they may be able to win a close one.

With that said, I'm fully expecting the Packers to roll.

Some mugs of strong Earl Grey on the sidelines should perk them up.

If we can just hold on to some of the ints in this game and not bust in coverage I think Jordan Love may throw a couple to us.

He makes some very risky throws over the course of his games having watched him play a few times. He makes some big time throws .. but some risky ones as well.

If we can just steal a few possessions I will consider that a win for the defense.

Offense needs to score at least 28 for us to have a chance. Bigsby needs to have a huge game like Mixon did for the tinhorns last week.

The key to stopping the packers is to pressure Jordan Love, he rattles and does dumb [BLEEP] with the ball when he's being chased. The key to pressuring him is to shut down their run game, if he can just hand it off and chew field we won't have the chance to exploit his weakness. If they can both run the ball and keep the pocket clean we'll be seeing Tom Brady-like play out there.

Makes me smile, I love the energy Dewey brings to Duval.

What’s the deal with the board? I can hardly access it anymore. Are you guys closed 5 of the 7 days of the week now? I tried posting over on jags Reddit but it just isn’t the same.

Cam Robinson is cleared to play. Let him sit and keep Little in.

Hopefully we see Oluokon and Miller in the backfield today.

That's probably good,  but the biggest problem is the check downs going into the flat and short over the middle,  our Linebackers have been slow in coverage. If Foye is a go, then it will be a welcoming sight.

What I remember of them we had a pretty good time.

Not that I remember all that much.

You don't either, so quit looking at me like that.

Bad calls happen, but we seem to be getting way more than our share of the types of calls that directly lead to added points for the opposition. This happened again against the packers in the 1st half I believe with a 3rd and long stop when the Packers were in or on the cusp of field goal range and instead were awarded a 1st and goal at the 5 or something which led to a TD. From in the stadium with the slo-mo replay they showed, our defender didn't much lay a hand on the guy. The receiver stumbled and threw his arms up in the air and got a late flag. It looked like a complete sell job to me. I did re-watch the play from home and I can't really tell what happened from the tv camera angle. It looks like maybe their feet got tangled for a moment, but I'm not even sure of that. Our guy didn't complain, so maybe he did do something to warrant the flag, but from the stadium views I didn't see it. This particular call took what would have been a long field goal attempt and turned it into a 1st and goal and then touchdown, netting the pack an extra 4 points. We lost by 3.

This one was ticky tack at best, but we had even worse examples of these point adding PI calls against the browns and tinhorns. It's really been a little bit of everything this year.
