2-6 and could be 2-9 by the Bye! What is the root cause?

We have a fragmented front office and coaching staff spearheaded by a clueless owner.
It's as simple as that. Success starts from the inside out. Until Khan gets a clue, hires the adequate talent evaluator, talent procurer and talent developer for this franchise? They'll continue to fail. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? I, who was born in a naked land and bred in the open sky. If you get right down to it, the team has been bad since Khan bought it. A string of bad GM's including Baalke, bad coaching staffs, etc. Until Khan gets the GM right this team will continue to flounder.
This came up a bunch in last night's game. The commentary gravitated to the risk-taker that Sirianni is, the tush push formations, the take a chance on third down because we know we are gonna go for it on fourth if it don't work kind of mindset.
Fans booed all they wanted at the failed conversion attempts, but he stuck to his mindset, the team doesn't have to guess what the strategy is, and they move. The wrinkles of pass plays out of the push formation will add challenges to DCs down the schedule, and those minor tweaks will bring a whole lot more success than radical rewrites. The team knows their coach. He doesn't flip-flop. He took a point off the board to take the smart chance at doubling the conversion attempt's return. He opted against a field goal when the team had basically held us to complete and utter inactivity. Having a coach who doesn't waver makes it so much easier not only to buy into the plan, but also to know exactly what the plan is and where you fit. No guessing. Can we say that about our squad? Nope. This team does not know one's [BLEEP] from one's elbow at this point. ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? Now I have hope that Shad was just trying to figure out how to be the best type of owner. I don't think Shad Khan is clueless. I think he was just trying to learn the "Industry". It's huge learning curve coming from what his business was into the NFL business. His patience looks like a flaw, but his patience also kept this franchise here for the next couple decades. Now, all he as to do is make the right call for the future. I'm hopeful. And I'm the guy that used to crap all over Shad last year. I think all this failure is useful for a man like him. Failure creates wisdom in people that have resolve. Failure can also create a death spiral in weak minded people. But I'd rather be hopeful that Khan is wise and not weak minded. Sirianni was just trying to get closer to the Vegas point spread. Why else would you forego going up 9 and making it a 2 possession game?

Because he did not believe the game was ever at risk because of the decision.
