I know there are no moral victories but I'm proud of how that team fought today. First half was terrible. O were just awful and D held up but had some bad plays that hurt. The fumble on the punt really put us in a hole early. For all the negativity around the team and Doug, Baalke etc, you could understand this team folding and it being a blowout but they fought. The D played tough, The O fought through setback after setback and Philly kept making bad decisions that were letting us hang around. If we had got the W it would have been glorious but I have some pride in seeing them fight the way they did today.

Glass half full. There's winning talent on this team. It's the dummies on the sidelines. Let's hope we can keep a sizable pool of the talent this offseason while the coaching staff is replaced. Hope is all we have right now.

Listening to the radio now. Doug is speechless. He says he sounds like a broken record. His utterly defeated tone is depressing and un-inspirational. The man has no fire.

We've got to that point where people are happy we lost so they can blame x, y, z.

No doubt. I guess it’s years of the football equivalent of PTSD. I’ve been as critical of the team as anyone but yeah, I’m happy they haven’t given up. I guess that’s not what you’re supposed to be to be a real fan or something.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

Quick get em some stickers!

Seriously, the O stunk at the beginning and the very end. The D had fewer minutes of stink but the ones they had were costly. Philly is just as stinkfilled and kept us close with a chance to win.

This in SPADES

The first half they played Doug and Press's offense. There was conversation between Doug and Press all half. Somewhere during the second half they began to play Trevor ball. Probably when they went up tempo. The look on Doug's face got sadder and less involved the more successful they became and it hit him. This season is the way it is because he stubbornly would not change to suit the players he has. What an opportunity lost.  What a (you supply the adjective I have mine).

Seems like a petty reason to be upset.  As a head coach,  your only priority should be to make sure the team is prepared to play good football against that week's opponent and finding a W however you can.  Not one specific way,  no one cares how you did it.  So Doug should maybe shuffle his priorities or just go down with whatever pettyness he's trying to force on us with his boyfriend Press.

Well if we continue to be [BLEEP] maybe the throwback jerseys will become bargain prices at end of year

Fingers crossed

True. Wouldn't mind a Logan Cooke jersey.

Well, it was bad fanfic based on speculation, so I guess being that petty is necessary to the plot.

I get people's anger and frustration. This year has been awful but it's like groundhog day. We've all argued over and over about Doug and Baalke, how bad Trevor is, how bad the O/D is and looking at how the seasons going well be having these same arguments next week

I'd just like for one week rather than focusing on any negative play as an excuse to have a rant and prove they are right is to actually talk about positive steps we can make and can build on.

But I get it, people are pissed and fans are gonna fan

That's a jersey you can wear for the next 5 years and not be ashamed to be wearing it.  I call that a sound investment!
