Cam Robinson Traded

I agree that Cam's attitude was trade worthy, but I have a bad feeling about a below-average line starting a new LT mid-season. Good luck and Godspeed Trevor Lawrence. LOL Walker Little was a second round pick that would have gone in the first if not for injury. He has starts under his belt in the league including the past two weeks. Many Jags fans have wanted him to take Cam's spot for years. Labeling him as less than a solid backup is ill-informed on your part. We show less advertisements to registered users. He had a perfect game the week before that but I didn't expect that to be his weekly standard. Your team has three starting linemen that have given up double digit pressures in 8 weeks. Are you over on the tinhorn board labeling them "less than a solid backup?" err...

If Cam performs well we would gain a round (4th) A bird in the hand...He will sign a top 10% deal, so it would be a 4th or higher. I haven't looked at the LT market but if no one else was there, he could have been overpaid. Based on what? His age? His injury history? His refusal to play anywhere than LT? His superior play? You really think someone is paying 30 year old cam 20+ per year? We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Bye Felicia! It's a shame we're two years behind on this decision. Oft injured and overpaid. Makes the next few games exciting with Walker Little, maybe we can get a starting caliber LT out of him worth resigning so we don't have to invest in potentially moving Harrison over there next year and drafting another RT.

Cam is playing with fire tonight. The crew is showing some great footage of his play and I wonder why wasn't he playing with this type of fire with us?

We will find that out next week.

Two franchise tags that cost him millions of dollars? A franchise that refused to commit to him long term? A scheme that didn't fit his skills? A chance to win a super bowl? A GM known to disrespect the players? Lots of things I'd imagine. “An empty vessel makes the loudest sound, so they that have the least wit are the greatest babblers.”. - Plato

He put himself before the team last year and you could make the argument that due to his behavior, the suspensions, the injuries and lack of conditioning without PED's? He's the reason Lawrence had his ankle rolled on against the Bengals last year and was the ultimate catalyst for that 8 - 3 start turning into this team's death spiral. It is rare situations like this play out. Usually the disgruntled traded player will come back, but years later. Add to that Cam is a FA this year and we will see the very best he has. Cam is not chopped liver so Allen better strap it up.

I just also see from his perspective this GM goes out of his way to piss off the people in his own franchise. There was no reason to tag Robinson that way, then they gave him a short deal after that? Baalke loves to do things the hard way just to show how much power he has and that gives people like Robinson every reason to be that way right back. “An empty vessel makes the loudest sound, so they that have the least wit are the greatest babblers.”. - Plato

Cam did the team wrong not the other way around. When Cleveland went down he was asked to come in and he wouldn't play because he didn't get the start.(11-04-2024, 08:04 AM)Caldrac Wrote: How about being a selfish sack of [BLEEP]?
