Spam is a delicacy compared to this soft [BLEEP].

At least the base is finally figuring it out.  It's not Lawrence.  It's not really even the players that are here.  There is more talent on this roster than there is dead weight.  Yeah, Baalke needs to go.  But I've been calling out the red flags since last year.  This team is a rudderless ship because there is not direction from the HC and his coordinators.

LOL

No

You kept saying Press Taylor changed the offense and ruined it

Stop with the revisionist history to prop up your [BLEEP] takes

I've been calling out Doug for letting Press take over the offense and ruining it.  I've been proven right.  I was hoping that Doug could turn things around, but he's too lazy and loyal to his lacky.  Sorry, but I was proven right.  I kept telling you and others for 2 seasons now.  Don't worry about it, you'll be right about one of your takes one day or another.

Coaching matters.  And this team has none.

You're a delusional liar, but just say whatever makes you feel good about yourself there bud.

Since this thread is about the OL - I'll put in back on track:

Scherff was bad int he run and pass games last week.
Little was good in run and bad in pass pro.
Harrison was good in pass pro, but avg in run Blk
Morse was good across the board
Hodges - excellent in run Blk - bad in pass pro

This is according to PFF but also lines up with what I saw out there which isn't often the case.

Great job, grammar purist.  I'm sure you're so proud of your big call out...  LOL.  I'm so devastated that I typed too fast...

Can we stop the snippety comments back and forth and get this thread back on topic and talk about O-line? We've got a mash unit out there now and several starters from 2024 that are going to need to be replaced in 2025. Does anyone think they bring back Walker Little?

Thanks. I believe that the jury is still out on Little's future with the Jaguars. He has 7 more games to show whether he is worth a new contract. So far, he has done pretty well overall, however we need to see even more growth for the remainder of this season. He hasn't ever really had a fair opportunity to show whether his 2nd round selection was deserved. It would be in the team's best interests for him to show continued growth for the remainder of this season making it a priority to re-sign him. Otherwise, they may be forced to draft one in the first round even if a better player (such as a cornerback) is also on the board. Those "need" picks rarely work out.

Yeah - I think Little is auditioning for the 2025 Jags and 31 other teams right now.

Gotta see how it plays out.

I'm all for keeping him if it isn't a ridiculous cost and drafting another tackle prior to the fourth round.

Let Little, Foster, Harrison and a draft pick battle for starting roles over the summer and preseason.

Javon Foster's college coach swears up and down he can play guard well, and it would be wise to draft another tackle with that versatility if possible. That would be my offseason approach and I'd be going after linemen that can get push in short yardage runs. We have very little of that in our current front 5. Has to improve.

I'd bring back Little because I think he's affordable compared to the guy I want to get to take Scherff's spot. Trey Smith out of KC. He's going to be expensive...but you've invested in Trevor for the next 7 years. Having one of the best interior linemen blocking for him would be smart.

The Chiefs aren't keeping both he and Creed Humphrie..and the Jags will still have Morse next season. I'd also draft another inside OLine player in the 3rd round because Cooper ain't that guy.
The Other Jag Forum: Duval Football Fans.

Brandon Scherff is no longer that dude.   Next season I want him gone.

As of now, we will look towards a C, RG, and possibly OT (whether it's a starter or swing tackle) next offseason.

Get the big guys on the line done ASAP.

Team has been trying to fix the line since Boselli/Searcy. At this point I’d settle for Brad Meester type consistency.

Meester was a beast.  That David Garrard / early Gabbert era line could run block as well as anyone. That season he got injured and Dennis Norman came in, just not the same.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

MJD was the best.  Garrard was ahead of his time and we didn't use him correctly.  He was a 1 read QB.  But he was a leader.  We were close with Garrard, but we also missed on WRs too.  Matt Jones, lol.

That 2008-2010 team were competitive.  I miss that team.  I miss MJD.
