that was a great comeback win by the lions last night.  heres the question now thoguh. are you ready for your  bye week this week againest Loserville?   thats goign to be a cake walk for your lions. Loserville has a clown owner,a idiot as a head coach, and  a bunch of clowns on the team.  we are a circus as well as Loserville.  this team is worse the the 0-16 browns, and lions no offensse inteded, but those teasm could beat Loserville!

Currently 13 point underdogs. Feels like it should be a 20 point spread, especially if Mac is in. This game will show the massive gap in rosters between the two teams.

Thanks, Snowwolf!  Overcoming a 16 point halftime deficit on the road against a good Texans team, that's well coached, ranks with amongst the best accomplishments of the Dan Campbell/ Brad Holmes Lions era yet.

I watched the Jaguars game against the Vikings. The Jags Defense did a great job keeping the Vikings from scoring a TD the entire game. The Jags Defense, despite the yardage the Vikings gained, looked much better than earlier in the season, with Foye Oluokun, Tyson Campbell, and Darnell Savage being back from injuries. Tyson Campbell gave WR Justin Jefferson, who I believe is the best WR in the NFL, a heck of a battle, even factoring in the help that Campbell received. He looks like a long term building block type of player.  The Jags Special Teams played winning caliber football.

Regardless, what the point spread is, the game is played on the field, not on paper.  Even with Trevor Lawrence being out and WR Christian Kirk lost for the season, the Jaguars have plenty of good players that could cause the Lions or any team problems.  I'm not taking this game or any game for granted.  The Jags have nothing to lose and could throw the kitchen sink at the Lions in the attempt to get a signature win. The Lions were in a similar position not that long ago.  Coach Campbell and his staff reminded the Lions players this before the Tennessee game a few weeks ago.  I'm confident that message will be repeated on multiple occasions leading up to the game vs. the Jags.

This is the NFL, nobody is looking for that “signature” win. That’s down there in college football. Hope the Jaguars beat the breaks off the Lions. I still ain’t forgot about what happened in 1995.

If jags have no chance of winning the super bowl this season,i hope your lions do. Lions fans deserve it.   I'm hoping someone beats the chiefs soon,  I think if they beat bills they will go 17-0 with the easy schedule thy got left.  I do pray no one gets hurt on either team, and st. brown gets me  some points in fansty.

I would actually be pleased with another late competitive loss. I'd be surprised if this is anything but a track meet for Detroit. They're kind of who I'm pulling for to go all the way this year. We're back in the basement of the league and just waiting for a miracle. Lopsided matchup for "Loserville". There won't be any shortage of insults for the coaching and team after the game I'm sure. Roasting all season long.

I think Loserville could have a surprising win before the season's end though. We won't go quietly into the night, at least I hope not. Gut check time who wants to be here in the future.

I definitely recall the 1995 game. It was during the Lions 7 game winning streak to close the 1995 regular season.  The 2024 Lions 7 game winning streak is the longest for the team since the 1995 season.

The 1998 game between the teams in Jacksonville was a completely different story.  That was the game that Barry Sanders was his usual self-rushing, but Fred Taylor was even better that afternoon. The Jags Offense was close to unstoppable, even without HOF LT Tony Boselli (because of injury).

Thanks again!

In Houston last Sunday Night, Amon-Ra St. Brown set the Lions record for the most consecutive games (7) with at least 1 receiving TD. His value goes well beyond his stats. Among other things, ARSB is a high caliber blocker on a team that prioritizes the running game.

unfortunately jags  won  something negative today.  We got the  most players  injured on our team in 1 game today. we lost 3 players that were key players. i was hoping no one got hurt for either team.  the only thing Jags have lead nfl over the years is getting the most injury's to key players. sorry your 1 player got hurt on the lions D6.

As someone who experienced many games like this one over the decades on the losing side, I can well imagine what you and other passionate Jaguars fans are going through.

I'm sure practically nothing can overshadow the Jaguars overall performance in this game for you. But I agree with what you mentioned in another thread that the Jaguars Special Teams were a bright spot for the team in Detroit. I thought the Jags Special Teams played well in the previous game vs. Minnesota as well. Even beyond the impressive Kicking and Punting, the Jags Punt Coverage Unit looks like winning caliber unit.  If as expected the Jaguars make a Head Coach change, I think the new Jags HC should seriously consider retaining Special Teams Coordinator Heath Farwell.

I also thought that DE Travon Walker was a bright spot for the Jaguars in the Lions game.  His effort also stood out late in the game, in addition to other parts of the game.

Walker Little did a good job for the Jaguars at LT.  A solid case can be made that he's an upgrade over Cam Robinson as a pass blocker.

Unfortunately, both teams did suffer a major injury.  The broken forearm that Lions LB Alex Anzalone suffered in the latter part of the 2nd QTR is expected to keep him out for 6 to 8 weeks. He's a difficult player to replace, both from physical and mental standpoints.

I hope that WR Gabe Davis makes a full recovery from the knee injury that suffered.

The good news for the Jaguars under the circumstance of the other injuries they suffered, is it looked like all of the players that were sidelined because of injury during the game, came back into the game.  I hope that proves to be the case.

We lost zero, didn't hear of anyone else. Buster, maybe? Morse came back in, as did Darby.
