Properly operated by good individuals one lawn guy can easily build a company with revenue of 80 to 100k a year. They just need to work. Most of the good ones now charge a month fee. She is mistaken.

What an incredibly ignorant statement. Many farmers have degrees in both Agriculture and Business/Finance, both skills very much needed to run a farm. A single farm might gross 2 or 3 million per year, but after operating expenses they are lucky to net maybe 45k per year depending on the weather that year. Also, farming is at least a 6 day per week job, sometimes 7 if animals are involved. Many days might be 14-16 hour days. There are 10 kinds of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those who don't. (11-12-2024, 01:30 PM)jagibelieve Wrote:(11-12-2024, 12:39 PM)WingerDinger Wrote: According to the libtards, they need their grass cut too.. As for what Trump will or will not do you will have to wait and see. Projecting what might happen is a slippery slope and a waste of time.

Spoiler alert. He knows you are a cheapskate liberal and didn't want your business. He sees you as a liability

Oh sure, Mexico has a long history of capitulating to Trump because they had no alternative. Mexico's fat check to build the wall, for example, as Trump demanded, because Mexico had no alternative

Don't turn your back on Goya now !!! That is true of many farmers. But Many farms are corporate owned or privately owned and the owners hardly ever even visit. Owners such as Bill Gates or the Saudi Land Fund. Those guys have it very easy. The guys they pay to work the land, not so much.

Last I checked there were plenty of other industries to work. Heck, welding schools are paying to train future workers in the industry. Farming is a an industry choice, not a mandate. Hey Gov, we haven't had rain. Please send me $200,000. What other industry can someone get paid for sitting at home basking in the sun. Perhaps I'm simply still pissed when the farmers quit selling a bakers dozen corn on the cob (e.g., give you 13 ears of corn for the price of 12 in the event you get a bad one).

Farms aren’t turnkey operations. A farm simply can’t be started up to grow crops and livestock. There is an incredible amount of knowledge and investment that goes into establishing one. Talk about out-of-touch liberals... Regarding the part in bold, you should probably spend a day or two (if you could last that long) working on a farm. I can also guarantee that most farmers are far more knowledgeable about the stock market, specifically commodities than you will ever be. There are 10 kinds of people in this world.
