Right up to Election Day, Donald Trump and his backers were issuing unfounded warnings of voter fraud. But once his decisive victory took shape, the flood of misinformation slowed to a trickle. Experts said the shift points to what opponents have long argued was Trump's preemptive deployment of fraud claims in case he lost, setting the stage for him to challenge the results as he did in the 2020 election. A sharp example came toward the end of voting on Tuesday, when officials in the largest city of must-win Pennsylvania had to quickly deny Trump's unfounded claim that police were responding to "massive cheating" in Philadelphia. Those were the latest doubts the ex-TV star raised about election fraud. But the false accusations go all the way back to his rejection of the 2020 results that ultimately led to his supporters trying to violently undo President Joe Biden's poll win. "As soon as the vote came in swinging their way, Republicans stopped making claims of election fraud late Tuesday, proving yet again it was all a grift," Philip Mai, co-director of the Toronto-based Social Media Lab, told AFP. The drop was particularly noticeable among members of the "Election Integrity Community," a group on X started by Elon Musk's America PAC, which encouraged its some 65,000 members to report irregularities. When the polls opened on November 5, the group shared over 1,000 posts an hour, according to data collected by the nonprofit National Conference on Citizenship (NCoC). The pace had fallen dramatically by the time the race was called for Trump in some crucial swing states early on November 6, blocking viable paths to victory for Vice President Kamala Harris.

So, the incredible nation wide conspiracy that was so powerful that no crime was ever uncovered and no one was even charged, apparently vanished without a trace? This is just more evidence that the call to investigate the 2020 election was never about dispelling doubts about the election, but about creating doubts in the election because they didn't like the results. Even when Kamala Harris certifies Trump's victory herself and Trump goes on to pardon the people invading the Capitol and calling for the hanging of Mike Pence, Trump supporters still won't see anything wrong. Accepting election results is the job of the "enemy within". 

And the next time a Democrat wins the Presidency -- assuming, of course, that the US isn't about to plunge into a Republican autocracy -- all those claims about "fraud" will reappear like magic. Right Winger Dinger?

I was frankly surprised they didn't attempt the old 'poll worker finds cache of uncounted votes at the last hour' ploy. Plus, Heels Up put the Dems in a quandary because they wouldn't allow her to speak extemporaneously. Her handlers couldn't decide which was worse, keeping her quiet, or allowing her to talk.

The lesson is every time Republicans which are essentially Maga win an election as if they are desperate to validate their position scream the majority. Trump first was also the majority of the government and but in two years he lost it. This time will be no different. Just bad for most Americans that we will have another economic crash in two years...just like last time.

They have been doing that but in limited states. AZ, CA, PA the number of ballots keeps changing. In AZ they are even running thousands of ballots again because of some issue. I'm sure they have properly removed the original scans and they also didn't just replace the ballots with ones they need to make the counts match what they want.

They didn't provide copies of the scanned ballots before and after rerun.
