Scandals

#1

Try as I might, I can’t think of even a single scandal in the Cabinst of Joe Biden over the past four years. This after numerous Cabinet members had to resign as a result of various scandals in the first Trump administration.

And here we go again. Two months until Trump takes office and the scandals are already swirling around him. There are accusations of sexual improprieties with three of his nominees, and that would be four if you count Trump himself. In additional, Felon Donald brings an entire list of previous scandals along with him, such as his fraudulent attempts to try to overturn the 2020 election and many more.

In addition, we can expect a scandal his very first day in office as he pardons hundreds of participants in the Jan 6 riot that attempted to disrupt the Electoral College confirmation vote of Congress, plus probably a few pardons of himself for his past criminal misdeeds such as illegally taking boxes and boxes of state secrets when he moved out of the WH. And who knows how many other pardons we will see in the first few days? The criminality among his associates stretches far and wide. Steve Bannon? Who else? Most presidents waited until they were ready to leave office in order to issue pardons. With Donald, it will be standard operating procedure as much as every week.

If his second term is anywhere close to his first, we can expect scandal after scandal after scandal. The problem, of course, is that around 50% of our fellow citizens simply no longer care. We used to remove presidents from office for scandals (Nixon). Now we elect them and make excuses for them no matter what they do. How exactly did this happen?

PS:

I mean, MTG got all kinds of frothy over Hunter's dick pics.

Does that count?

Yall had a congressman that was sleeping with a literal Chinese spy and didn’t do jack [BLEEP] about it. It’s not that you didn’t have scandals, it’s just you didn’t care cuz they had that big D behind their name.

Maybe passing off Biden as competent when everyone knew he wasn't? Don't kid yourself. There are many, just not covered by the bought and paid for press.

Expand on the instance that you are talking about. I think that you have probably left out a lot of details.

Scandals by members of Congress don't answer the question.
Only scandals involving Biden or people Biden picked for the cabinet would compare.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

He also brought up other scandals, but we know you want to keep it to the single topic so your hypocritical outrage can stay intact. Rolleyes

So do you have anything to expand about what you said prior or not?

Eric Swalwell slept with a known Chinese spy, what part don’t you understand?

Eric Swallwell was not nominated by the Biden administration to a Cabinet post, nor was he in any way an integral part of the Biden administration. He was an independently elected politician. What part of that don’t you understand?

In addition, just as I suspected, you only tell part of he story:

“Swalwell confirmed that the FBI informed him that he was targeted by a Chinese intelligence operative but he was clear that he cooperated with law enforcement immediately and stressed that he was never accused of wrongdoing.”

In other words, dishonesty always runs deep in the defenders of Trump, just like their grey hero.

You brought up Steve Bannon, who was counselor to the president, which is not a cabinet ranked position and hasn’t been in over 30 years. So you don’t get to drop in other scandals and then whine when other scandals are discussed. But feel free to cry some more.

Steve Bannon had primary access to the Oval Office. But I am not surprised that you continue to make dishonest claims because that is the manner in which Trump supporters simply follow the lead of their great hero. Truth and honesty have given way to mass falsehoodsin defense of anything that Trump wants to do among his supporters. It is very sad.
