They seem to be stacked at RB, and the tacks were gettin yards in bunches against us, so I think our death comes on the ground rather than through the air.

If this comes down to savvy coaching strategy, the game will end in a 6-6 tie.

I think the Jets best us here. They've played better the last few weeks but still find a way to lose. I don't know if we're good enough right now to exploit those mistakes. 

Plus the Jets seem to have so much uncertainty right now. Is Rodgers staying? Getting traded? Coaches staying or going. Feels like they have people fighting to save their jobs. Doesn't feel like that here right now.

No. I honestly thought this game would have at least had 5th - 7th seed situations on the line if we were not in line for one of the top four seeds already. It just goes to show you how much the NFL flip flops and why it's just not worth drinking the kool-aid anymore. Look at what the Steelers are doing after everyone said Wilson was the issue in Denver. On the flip side, look at what Denver is doing now with Bo Nix at QB. 

The Bengals being down this year is a bit of a surprise as well. The 49ers struggling without key players is not surprising though and it's going to be interesting to see where the Rams finish up this month because they're getting healthy now at the right time and could easily sneak up on some teams if they're not careful come play off time. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if they face off against the Lions deep in the play-off's and keep that game close or within a puncher's chance for a win.

Your right. It's been a weird season and don't think anyone saw this game as a draft position fight. 

As the league has become a lot more level in terms of talent, it really feels to me that momentum and confidence are such big factors in a teams success or failures. Teams like Washington got off to a good start and a few wins you wouldn't have expected and just soared. Like you say Pittsburgh got a few tough wins and kept putting wins together.

Then there's teams like us, Bengals, Jets that had high expectations and good rosters but got off to bad starts and haven't been able to recover. They are still making the same mistakes and can't find a way to overcome them. You see those teams lose leads in the 4th Q, give up the big play that turns a game and it's 'here we go again'.

I've been waiting for that usual team to stutter through the first 11 weeks then hit form and surge into the playoffs but there doesn't seem to be that team this year.

But I love having the league so competitive and every team having a shot.

Yeah. I say all that, but, it'll be frustratingly funny when it's the damn Chiefs winning it all again because of that defense and Mahomes uncanny knack for playing well when the team absolutely needs him to do so. I don't think Buffalo wins in Arrowhead if they travel over there in the play-off's. 

It's been a fun year though to watch football. Just wish we were in the lead for the AFC South crown.

Yeah sure would have been nice to have an explosive offense while the defense retooled from a.3-4.to a.4-3

Poor drafting and over paying the roster holes sure can burn your team.
