If Lawrence was having the exact same game you would be complaining.
I cannot remember the last time he has been in this kind of groove but I always give him his name props when he plays well

Say what you want about Mac. His pocket awareness is pretty good. His ability to sense, feel, bail and move is pretty impressive. He's done that a few times this year already.

Could have been a better throw, but BTJ was still able to get two hands on it

I think it was a very tough catch.

It looked like a bad throw to me.  BTJ made an effort, but the ball was just too high.

He’s gotta stop going out of bounds for sacks tho

If mac had a stronger arm he'd be a proper QB

It's possible this team would have made the post season last year when Lawrence was out had we had a better back-up QB situation.
With the season, I would now rather have the 6th round pick and the #1 pick while playing the season out with CJ.

This team has 2 #1 picks on it.
Just win, baby

Yeah, that is such a dumb thing to do.

Agree that it was a tough one. Of course we wish he could have made the circus catch, but a better ball would have been a TD.

Mac Jones is playing loose and with confidence. His talent is average but I like the way he's elevated his game and gotten better each week. I'd love to see Lawrence play with that chip on his shoulder and just let things rip. Felt like he was overly skittish this year in the pocket.
Championship Formula:

1) Draft Trevor Lawrence!
2) Play good physical Defense!
3) Keep 91% of the roster healthy!
4) ???
5) Blank #2
6) CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

Yeah he had some space for BTJ. Made it a high point catch when he had room to drop it in.

Those are the fine margins though.

Oh it most definitely would have been a tough catch for sure.

It seems like they are game planning more to his strengths today.

Better than playing too loose with the football and running the risk of being injured or turning it over in my opinion.

Meh. I think he's just taking what's there underneath when his 1st and 2nd options are not open downfield. I am not seeing him do anything outside of just managing the game and then making plays with his legs when he has absolutely no choice.

Would like to see more strong running formations thrown at them. They're weak against the running game and there was some creases showing in that 1st half. I expect ETN and Bigsby to both crack a 25+ yarder a piece in this 2nd half.

I know Rodgers gets a lot of the blame but what happened to that D. It was a legit D and had some great players but they've been so off it all year.

Agreed. That was supposed to be the bread and butter of their football team. Gardner getting flagged twice in one half for PI is fairly common this year. I remember seeing him get flagged multiple times against the Vikings and Cardinals. He's fixing to have a really tough outing with the Rams next weekend.
