PFF grades are in vs Jets!

#1

Walker Little looks to have locked up the LT spot, he has played well consistently. ETN came back down to earth and finally made some plays. BJT is a prime display of why draft position does not matter.  Our 23rd pick is playing much better than all those top 10 guys we drafted. Strange is a guy I think has a good solid future here in Jacksonville.

On Defense, I thought the pass rush was pathetic but somehow Hines Allen and Walker has passing grades. Jones has a great score but didn't he blow the long wide open pass to Adams? Cisco in limited play has a passing grade. There wasn't much to really praise here.

It’s good to see Hamilton is only 2 points lower than Cisco in pass coverage. It’s also good to see he had no effect on the game at all and was the highest graded defender for the Jaguars.

Ledbetter gets a sack and is rated lower.

The most important thing is that Mac Jones raised his Run Blocking rating from 54 against that Titans, to 83 against the Jets.

Cisco played like trash in my opinion.  But I guess PFF knows better.

Edit: I honestly have no idea why Dewey isn't playing more snaps. This whole organization makes no dog gone sense.

Maason Smith had his best game imo. I guess they dinged him so bad because of ARod running the ball because the Jets run game wasn't very good. A number of times Smith was chasing Rodgers

He's stuck on the roster until 2026 due to the guarantees in his contract.

Good, he will play better next year with a better coach and scheme if the jags make moves. Tank needs to play better. Allen and Walker need to play better.

There's a potential out in his contract after next year. There'd be a sizeable dead cap hit, but if he's truly this bad and restricted to playing the edge after next year I say bite the bullet, cut him and clean the cap by accelerating the cap hit/dead cap by cutting him in the out year after 2025
Championship Formula:

1) Draft Trevor Lawrence!
2) Play good physical Defense!
3) Keep 91% of the roster healthy!
4) ???
5) Blank #2
6) CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
