Mostly looking forward to see how Bowers plays. Want to see if he really is the next big thing. Other than that, BTJ stat padding. He has been really great, but I want to see if he can take it to the next level and start catching some of those drops we've seen. That third touchdown would have been so nice....

This looks like a game we will have to pull off some miracle to lose. Raiders look really bad, down to the back up QB, Crosby done for the year and focusing on their future.

I know some are looking at our draft position and will want an L but I'd be worried if we find a way to lose this one. No W's are going to change decisions ahead but I want to see a certain standard from our players.

It's worrying seeing mistakes we are now making. This has to be the low point of the rollercoaster journey moving forwards.

BTJ, once again, is all that matters.

A few weeks ago, I would say that I wanted the losses to get to the best pick we could get.  But honestly, it doesn't matter if Baalke is still the GM.  If we can bring in a real GM and a real HC, that I'd be happy with the 10th pick.

But if Baalke stays, even the #1 overall pick will be wasted.

As far as the rollercoaster, I'd say that yesterday was actually not so bad.  The game was fun to watch, matter of fact, it was the best game on at the 1PM time slot.  Mac is a goof ball, and I'm here for every minute of it!  Dude is out there talking trash, making stupid plays, spinning around and looking like a Saquon Barkley, slinging TD's out of nowhere.  He's just a fun guy to watch.  He'd make a terrible franchise QB.  But as a back-up?  He's a pleasure!

I'll tell ya one thing, I bet we beat LV or at least have a close game.  And I bet at least one time during the game I will laugh at something Mac does, and then I'll also respect his toughness and grit on another play, and then I'll shake my head wondering what the heck he's doing on another play.  And then he'll mess around and throw a couple TDs to Brian Thomas Jr.  That's just the kinda goofball Mac Jones is.  And it makes for at least a good watch.  Which, let's face it, is all we have to look forward to now that the season is totally lost.

Increased maason snaps, strange to get some more targets & Jones to have more solid performances

Walker almost had another sack vs Jets but Ledbetter cleaned it up. Always love seeing DEs get to the QB.

Thomas has a chance to get into rare company with a 1k season. I want to see Bigsby take over at RB. I have no hope for our secondary, which leaves DT. Ledbetter looks to be the best of what we got. Armstead didn’t give anything at DT last week.

Well, it's Jaguars Football Sunday.... again... and that must mean we're up here at the stadium waiting for the forecast from the world's most-famous football mascot, Jaxson da Ville, who's just about to tell us how much more losing we can expect.

Oh no Jaxson sees his shadow, 3 more weeks of losing.

Hopefully we won't be living 2025 like it is the groundhog day movie where every season feels like the same thing over and over

Death of the Franchise - November 29, 2011

Fans deserve better. Thanks for all the good times too many are in the past.

^This always gives me deja vu from when Etienne took over James Robinson's job.

There's no reason to cut ETN if he's at value, though.  Bigsby is a good RB  But there's no reason to think we have to only have 1 of them.  We can still have both.  But if we are dealing with the same trash inside linemen, why cut a RB that we can have at a decent price?

This is what always bothers me with the Jaguars franchise.  Why let go a decent dude?  Why not keep dudes that are good?  The best franchises figure out how to keep their dudes.  ETN is our dude.  Flsprtsgod made a great point that we should not have drafted him.  But what is done is done.  We could keep him at a discount.  Why not keep him?  Baalke messed up by drafting him, but he's a good RB.  It's not like he's gonna cost us tons of money.  Keep the good players, and get rid of the bad ones.  ETN isn't a bad player.

I always hated that we got rid of AR15.  Yeah, he wasn't a world beater.  But he was good.  We could have signed him. Same with so many players.  Ardent Key, for instance.  What was his value?  We could have used him this year instead of the trash interior D linemen we got in free agency this offseason.  For crying out loud, we got rid of the Mayor of Sacksonville, and he's still balling out!!!  Can you imagine having him still here building a culture??

I just don't get why we move off so many players so quickly.  It's terrible management.

on a side note. From PFF's fantasy takes.

NFL Week 15 is nearly a wrap. Running back Kendre Miller and tight end Brenton Strange stand out as waiver-wire targets ahead of Week 16.

Doesn’t matter how good Bowers is, if Ridder is starting, Jags actually roll.

I think you are underestimating how bad this defense is.  We have made Ridder type QBs look like HOFs.   It should be a great one and one for the books Sunday.
