Winning games against the other bottom feeders means nothing. They will end the year with 4-5 wins in a season where Khan said this is the most talented team they’ve ever had.

They’re all cooked. Even Baalke.

If neither of them are fired I would at least hope something is mandated. 

Whether that's forcing Pederson to move on from Taylor or clearly having indicate that he's the full time play caller on offense. Whether that's hiring a new EVP to oversee Baalke and Pederson for one more year to determine what the primary issue is, etc. Something needs to give. Firing Nielsen and replacing him with a more seasoned defensive coordinator like a Jack Del Rio or Ron Rivera, etc. 

Something big has to change at the minimum in 2025. With or without everybody being completely uprooted.

Jim Schwartz bailed Doug Pederson out in Philadelphia. Vic Fangio is bailing Nick Siranni out in Philadelphia now. Steve Spagnuolo has been carrying Andy Reid in Kansas City for awhile now. There's nothing wrong with hiring a well established defensive mind with head coaching experience to fix your issues on defense. It's been Doug's biggest issue every year since being here in Jacksonville.

Agreed. It's not a good feeling. I expect Khan to take another classic half measure. I am willing to stomach Pederson being here in 2025 again, but, not sure I can stomach Pederson AND Baalke being back together in 2025. There needs to be a change somewhere. At the minimum, if you're going to keep both of them, he needs to hire an executive level position to evaluate the both of them in 2025 to determine if they need to restart in 2026.

The money you think we "save", the other 10 mil in dead cap goes against the cap next year.  If you do a post June 1st cut you also can't use that extra cap space until after June 1st when all the top FAs are gone.

It's pretty clear flgatorandjags fan doesn't understand the full magic of post June 1st cut!  It unpromises promised money, it creates huge cap space at a flick of the wand, and it erases ALL bad decisions that a franchise has ever made.  You don't even have to use the post June 1st cut past June 1st anymore!
