I just paid over $75 in the Chick-fil-A drive thru. What the heck Trump?

It doesn't matter what I bought or how many things I bought, this is Trump's fault.

LOWER FOOD PRICES!!!!

Eggs at $9 in my area. I hold Mr. Trump personally responsible for this.

Do you require a 3rd grader to explain the math?

No, but evidently you do.

Now, prepare yourself for more expensive stuff for 4 years. Because it's already coming.

I quit eating Chick-fil-A when their sandwiches got much smaller and their prices skyrocketed. $12 for a #1 meal -- NO Thanks !! I'll drive thru for my wife's meal but I refuse to support them. On a side note, their natural Lemonade is great when mixed with vodka.

On a sidenote: Spending $75 and trying to balance out the remaining $125 in food stamps could be quite draining on the budget. Smile

I'm ready and willing to pay the short-term cost increase necessary to obtain the long-term benefit.

P.S.  I've already paid higher costs for four years.  It took a trip to Chik-fil-A for you to figure this out?   Laughing

The cost of eggs is thanks to the avian flu killing chickens. Duh.

It's actually very hard to even find eggs in my area. I saw a few boxes at Walmart that were 40 count but none of the regular 12 and 18 count of any size or brand. Food Lion is consistently out as well. Harris Teeter and Fresh Market are hit and miss. Usually the most expensive are still available.

Temporary higher prices for some goods is a small price to pay to ensure your kids don’t meet the same fate as Laken Rile

Additionally, "it's just me" hasn't mentioned his dad yet so I don't think it could be Snow Wolf

Another thought.  The Dems brought up price gouging resulting from the Wildfires so I'm wondering if Chick-fil-A is guilty of increasing their prices due to the recent demand from the Wildfires.   Perhaps we we set a price cap of $50 to each family order (regardless of what one buys), it would solve the problem (e.g., if someone orders 5 meals, it's $50 total // If someone orders 10 meals, it's $50 total).   As you noted, it doesn't matter what you bought, the bill should not be $75.  I don't care if you bought 5 meals and 100 nuggets, we should not have to pay $75 on any order !!!

Well, maybe instead of capping the total we could implement some kind of freeze on pricing, a...control if you will, that locks in the price of the food for the next 20 years. That way no matter what else happens people will have the comfort of knowing that their Combo #1 will always be $12.43 except when we raise taxes, that of course falls outside the constraints we put on the franchises. We could also have the media talk about how important it is that rich people like CFA franchise owner pay their fair share to keep the economy strong and how only evil or unpatriotic people aren't willing to joyful participate. Then we could help the franchises by offering tax incentives to offset the cost of the profits they would lose over time. I'm sure we could make that rate flexible based on some type of scoring system that rates how well they comply with our social engineering programs or even how much they contribute to our re-election campaigns! By putting the government in the middle of these transactions we're sure to improve the health of our currency and economy. It's a win win for everyone!

I wanted to help so I forwarded your complaint to Trump. He formed a committee of Schumer, Pelosi and AOC to solve it for you. Let me know when they get back to you. No thanks required.

On a side note the CEO of Chipotle remarked during his quarterly report the Mexican avocados Schumer was concern about in his press conference were not an issue.  They had already outsourced 50% to other countries and could do more if needed so no increase to worry about.

Love the creative post !!!

This makes way too much sense and certainly aligns with the socialistic future of the US (in 2028 when AOC is President).  I mean, why shouldn't someone like Elon Musk have to pay $1,243.00 for the #1 Meal whereas we pay $12.43 capped for 20 years.

While true, The Drifter is prohibited from holding Donald accountable for anything he says, as are all MAGA. Think of him less as a candidate or elected office holder and more as a Creator-replacement for her. He is her North Star, her Everything, her source of all Truth, so what he says or does matter little; that she believes he is saying and doing it for her is all that she needs. Therefore she’ll happily pay $20 for a carton of eggs if she believes it allows her to better serve Donald.
