You can find the entire list of almost 6,000 Canadian tariffs on US imports at the World Integrated Trade Solution website.

Yeah, I'll get right on that.

Great.
Which of these violated the USMCA / NAFTA?
And how many violating tariffs did we already have on the books?

I believe the answer is "go figure it out for yourself." Or don't, I don't care.

So now the tariffs on Mexico and Canada have been both delayed for another month after Trump started to see the real damage they were doing to our economy. Basically, Mexico and Canada said they were ready to have a trade war if Trump wanted to continue to push this stupidity any further, and Trump folded. Probably under immense internal pressure as businesses finally got him to understand how harmful his stupidity is being. The stock market tanking probably gave Trump pause to think as well.

When bullying and bluster doesnt work, he doesnt have a back up plan.

Come on Donald, I dare you put tariffs on Mexico & Canada

First, those tariffs were about the drugs. That has been stated many times. Yes, they have out of respect for the USMC deal been withdrawn on those products entering our country under that deal. April 2nd the reciprocol tariffs go into effect. The tariffs on steel and aluminum are also not effected as those countries have been selling acess to the US market to China's dumping strategy.

You can always tell the posts from people who don't do any kind of negotiating in their lives.

I seem to remember MAGAs complaining about inflation in 2021 and then elect someone who is going to raise tariffs. Are we saying that these people are not aware that tariffs cause prices to go up, and corporations' profit to go down, driving inflation up, unemployment up, stock prices to down. Does it sound like a Recession? Y/N? All caused by a maniac President.

Keep drinking the Orange Koolaid!! Trump stating something 'many times' does not make it the truth.

There are no illegal drugs coming from Canada.

Being MAGA he is obligated to believe that we have drugs coming from Canada. To do otherwise would be an act of disloyalty toward Donald, and you know how he feels about former supporters who prove disloyal. Unfortunately, this means that for all perpetuity, Jag149 will believe that Canada is flooding drugs in the US, and nothing other than Donald changing his mind will cause Jag149 to change his mind.

Nice attempt by the two of you but kind of elementary and simplistic in approach. Doesn't surprise me though as both of you seem to be only observers in life not really living it. That restricts you terribly. My condolences. To bad you are bold potion.

No, it’s because of your MAGA that you’re not allowed to have an opinion. Remember what Donald expects: he expresses the opinion, the media conveys it to you, and you merely regurgitate it. He neither needs nor wants any of your little opinions, only your loyalty and compliance. He expects you to stay in your lane. And because he is your Everything, your North Star, your Purpose, you comply by dutifully rebroadcasting no actual opinion of your own but instead what he told you.

Blah,Blah,Blah .. about a month and a half in you got a long way to go may want to pace yourself. The programmed bs you are spouting is sounding more and more repetitive.  Maybe hit up some Hollywood writers to write you some fresh material.

That sounds exactly like the DNC and their expectations of the rank and file democrat voters.

While this may be true, neither Donald nor Elon care about your groccery or tarrifs prices, what they wanted out of you, so going forward you are immaterial and useless to their plans. They'll remake government how they please, and if you're not happy with it, well, you're a big ol' zero as far as they are concerned--a nuisance at most, who didn't even bother to purchase Donald's gold sneakers or guitars. Remember make sure to sign up for that $47 DOGE card. Ok?

Guarantee they have more to worry about cocaine and marijuana coming from our side than we do about fentanyl coming from their side.  I would bet the volume of just illegal fentanyl that we send them is greater than the volume they send us.

I saw something earlier that said for fentanyl specifically they send 3 times as much into the USA as we send out as of 2023. In any case it was a small amount compared to the southern border and it was a DEA-esque site, so take it for what you will.
