They consider the individual Tesla owners as permissible collateral damage while they rampage, and they consider it unlikely that they will be caught.

We can agree on this (no do not faint...lol) The issue is they could actually increasing his sales. The insurance companies may replace with another Tesla creating more demand. I know a few Tesla owners that have earlier models that would do this given the chance as they like them. Bottom line the people doing the damage are committing crimes and therefore criminals. Once caught if it is a felony they will lose their vote and that to me is a positive. These people make dumb decisions and maybe it is good they can no longer vote. They cannot spook insurance companies off providing insurance as they are caught and placed behind bars the occurrences will decline. The early adopters of this tactic will pay quite a price.  (their freedom)

Someone burning a Tesla today clearly hates Elon. But that doesn't mean they are Democrats or leftists. They could be anarchists or communists or foreign terrorists.

We all actually agree about Trump's personality around here. We all say he's a shallow, stubborn narcissist who doesn't understand most issues deeply, although he's very skilled at showmanship and relatability.
