Guy posted his experience, people read it, it went viral through nothing he did. I just said you had no grounds to call him a liar based on unfounded opinions which are not facts. Maybe call him up and grill him. Calling people who do not agree with you liars (me included) seems to be your MO,

He may give each new patient a questionnaire in the introductory session, telling them to answer as much or as little as they wish. The information could be used to help guide his therapy with each patient, or for statistical research only, without any patient identification. Lol. Yes they do. Every doctor does this now but especially shrinks. They need to know what prompted you to be there, your symptoms, your list of meds, the diagnosis from your previous shrink if applicable. They'll ask about your home life, your work life, your hobbies, your family history of mental illness. At some point they'll probably figure out political leanings based on random info the patient gives. Hell, you can just look at some people and tell which side of the aisle they sit on. Back in the 90s I had a shrink who was full on hippie chick. Definitely liberal but not the hateful kind we see now. If a shrink (or any doctor) ever does start publicly talking about "conservatives are crazy!" or "liberals are crazy!" they won't be a practicing shrink for very long. So if he did do that, and got some kind of figure, but then represented that figure as applying to his patient specifically, he made a mistake, and the post is a lie.

The word political does not even appear in my comment, nor did I say anything about specific questions. "I'm collecting information for statistical research. There are blank questionnaires on the table, feel free to fill one out if you wish. Answer whatever you're comfortable with and don't put your name on it, all information is anonymous Just drop it in the box after you're done." It's really that simple, you just can't admit there's even a chance that you're wrong.

So this scenario also falls under the "he lied" possibility. As I said, there are really only two possibilities, either he was unethical, or he is lying.

Imagine you told me that there are three points out in the universe, and I said, "those three points either form a line or a triangle." Then you argued, "how can you know that? I didn't tell you where the three points are. How can you tell me that I am wrong when you are ignorant?" That's the corner you've backed yourself into. How's the view?

Your scenario is plausible, but it falls under the category, "he was lying". as for whether nerves were struck, it takes two to tango. You guys really seem to want this s*** to be true.
