Numerous firefighters and police officers in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, have been shot and killed in an apparent ambush Sunday, with someone purportedly intentionally setting a blaze to lure the first responders to the hotspot to be fired upon.

"Send law enforcement now! There's an active shooter zone!" shouted one firefighter pleading for help on his radio.

"Everybody's shot up here! Law enforcement! Code 3 now up here!"
