Chick-Fil-A Takes Over KFC As Chicken King

Quote:You know, I've never tried that combo. Haven't paid attention to notice it was in stores either. I have the required ingredients on hand, I may have to try it. I assume it is good with meat?

The zax sauce, although you don't like,e it, the best I have gotten so far was mayo, ketchup and ranch. Not quite there yet. May be an issue of how much of each ingredient or perhaps add a dash of hot sauce, seems unlikely, maybe a dash of BBQ. Idk... Sad

I feel like the put paprika and some other spices in it though.

I will have to try adding some. I would think the BBQ sauce would have some or most of the spices needed already. I could be wrong though. I am all for experimenting in the kitchen.

Great! There are plenty of sites out there that break down popular restaurant dishes so you can make them at home. I love Carrabbas chicken Marsala and I found it online so now I can make it at home.

Yeah, I didn't think about looking it up online. I'll look up all kinds of stuff but it's those little things that don't even cross my mind to google.

I don't think Asian pron is going to help you in the kitchen much...although isn't there usually a pizza man or a repair man involved? Big Grin

Tried that recipe for zax sauce. Just mixed it up. Tastes pretty close. They recommend letting it sit in fridge to let flavored mingle with one another.

In the past I just squirted some ketchup and mayo and mixed it together for a quick dipping sauce. That is a good quick sauce. But adding the black pepper definitely helps so far. Not really tasting the Worcestershire sauce or garlic powder. In a few hours I will find out.

Mix ketchup and Worcestershire sauce 70/30 and you got a good approximation of HP sauce.

Also, mix siracha and honey 70/30 and you got something to that will blow your friggin mind.

I didn't know what HP sauce was. Thanks for clarifying. How do I get it out of the cartridge though?

P.S. The homemade zax sauce turned out just fine for those interested. Maybe not 100% zax sauce! but darn good.

Maybe it should be called Jaggy Sauce and served with chicken fingers and Gus Juice.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
