Very nice win, I'm still on edge. Fun match to watch, Ghana has a good team.

That last 20 minutes were brutal and brutally awesome.

IN-CREDIBLE! I nearly lost my voice on that header.

I don't know if anyone has noticed this, but U.S. soccer is really stressful. We can't hold possession for jack and our passing is terrible.

I dont think there is any way he continues.  A pulled hamstring should take weeks or months to heal fully.  He's done.

Losing him severely hurts our chances of making a deep run.

It was awesome.  I was thinking about how we have had late game theatrics (Wolrd Cup 2010) with the men and even the women team... so i thought after Ghana scored to tie and was dominating possession "no way we pull out another miracle victory"  HAHA

This was one of the most exciting games I have ever seen.

American Football is obviously my main sport, but wow, the last time that I felt this excited watching a sporting event was when the Jags beat the Colts on a 59 yard field goal back in 2010. But this was more special. This...was for Country.

Have they come out and said what exactly he did to his hammy ?

Aron Johansson might be a better option. Better ball skills and finishes at the goal better. Jozy is so streaky.

Judging by the way he went down, he won't be back.  Disagree about Johansson.  Jozy although inconsistent is still are most talented striker.

Yeah, but as soon as Jozy left the game, Ghana could push three guys to press our defenders on the ball because they had no fear of being beaten over the top. We don't have the skill back to front to pass our way out of that kind of pressure. The USA still needs that physically imposing presence at forward to compete with the best teams in the world. This is why I was upset Eddie Johnson was left off the squad. Johansson and Wondolowski are better players, but EJ fits that vital cog in our system better than either of the other two.

I didn't understand that either.  Eddie Johnson should have been a back up.

One thing I noticed is how much better Ghana handles and passes the ball. It was like night and day. But they choked when it came to shots on goal a few times. Also some bad decision making near the net. The one goal they had though was pretty sweet.

They had way too many shots on goal just because we cant do simple passes.  Beckerman makes me want to go crazy.

My son was close to the tv by his toys when we scored the goal.  I jumped up cheering, my wife yelled.....my son had no clue what was going on and we scared him out of his mind.  I had to pick him up and get him to cheer with me to calm him down. lol

Ghana was pushing so many guys forward that all we could do was counter-attack the whole game.  We will need to have a better answer for that in the next two games.

Our players don't possess the skill players from other countries do.
